Re: NCAA Football 14 Demo is Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)
Can someone report if one of the major flaws of last yr's PS3 version--no press coverage animations on the left side of the field, has been rectified?Comment

OMG! I haven't even tried a game yet, because i'm playing the skills trainer and i can already tell this game is MUCH BETTER. LOVE THE SKILLS TRAINER...definitely teaching me how to use the option. the player movement is so much more fluid. the jukes are sick!!
OMG I'M DROOLING. if only they had put in my revo 2-bar face mask to make this game complete!!Comment

My word of advice for person like MYSELF that always struggled with the option and needed that practice. the skills trainer is the best feature they could've added. it helps so much practicing over and over again w/ full defense/offensive sets. oregon is a straight beast w/ the option to shovel or pitch. and the acceleration burst. AND DAT IS FINALLY A BEAST W/ THE JUKE!!!!Comment

I don't care what anyone says. thank u for bringing back the COLORS in the game. oregon really stands out.Comment

Anyone else notice any false pulls by the offensive line? I could be wrong but I swear I just saw one while playing against VTI <3 FootballComment

one small thing i love is the fact that the post pay little highlight videos actually involve the players in the play, not the same players over and over.NBA: Los AngelesLakers 2009-2010 World Champions

i haven't spent anytime testing the AI or anything but my first impression is the game feels extremely polished. that's a term I haven't used much for EA football. the running game feels organic and fluid. saw the O-Line get some nice push on the Dline a few times. felt like I spun out of a tackle in progress. and the few times ive noticed the infinity engine were all well done and realistic. im impressed. good job EAComment

I definitely might be buying this in july...I saw some quirky stuff with animations that made me scratch my head ,but it wasn't nothing to warrant anything game breaking....The option game is a monster and the computer is deadly with it...thats a plus...Coordinator cam is very good also. I'm impressed a little EA"Wisdom is ALWAYS an overmatch for strength"........The Zen MasterComment

Re: NCAA Football 14 Demo is Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)
Ran a CPU vs. CPU game (Or. vs. Tx.) and AI was quite sound on both sides of the ball.
Noticed more quirks with the sound since I was just focused on watching, but nothing too crazy.
Lastly, after every score, there is a glitch where the camera just stayed focused on the ball and the players leave the field. Once I hit "x" the game resumed, although the offense always suffered a delay of game penalty.Unofficial OS Ambassador of "CPU vs. CPU"

Re: NCAA Football 14 Demo is Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)
Random impressions through one game and a few drills:
-Running game feels nice, the tackles, the fight for yardage; I actually used stumble recovery to recovery after getting hit, then broke for a TD, and it looked great, very realistic.
-There's a little hitch by RBs when receiving a pitch. I understand backs will generally slow down a bit in these instances in real life, but I thought it looked off. Maybe they did this to help prevent backs from getting too great of an advantage.
-The hard cuts definitely give the game a new feel.
-The infinity engine or whatever it's called looks and feels pretty darn good. In one game I saw two post whistle stumbles, and they were minor little stumbles, to the point where they were almost even believable. All in all, it feels cleaned up from what Madden was last year.
-Coordinator Cam was pretty cool, but in drills mode it kind of bugged out on ints. Could just be that mode.
-Getting engaged by a blocker while playing defense feels pretty much the same, and once you've got a blocker on you it kind of feels like control is taken out of your hands. Leverage is clearly something that needs work in EA's football games. Hopefully they have this on their radar.
-Replays still kind of suck. You mostly get these weird angles, and ones that don't really look that good.
-You still get those screenshot pics at the end of games. They suck worse than the replays. The sooner they take those out, the better.Comment
