i was playing oregon and it was third and goal at the 3 yard line. As soon as Mariotta said hike and got the ball he immediately threw the ball away in the back of the end zone. wtf?Comment

Gotta agree that they fixed the deep passes.
Though, I do have a couple of complaints; but, I'll definitely still get the game:
- teams that run the read option seem to always run it. Oregon only attempted 5 or 6 passes the whole game.
- tackling animations are still prolonged like in NFL '13
Other than that, this game is the real deal. Teams score a ton in the first half like they should, and as the defense takes over and wears the offenses down, the teams don't score much in the second half.
I thought this wasn't going to be any good, but, I will definitely get it.Comment

Just found another broken play possibly... Fake screen Wheel out... #1 on Oregon (guy doing the wheel route) is open uncovered nearly every time I run it... When you can throw for 400 yards like nothing on Heisman level, there is something wrong...Comment

Playing VT/Alabama as VT, and my QB got injured right after a 20 yard pass. Scored on the drive eventually thanks to some key runs, but haven't played defense yet to see if I can top them. Going to switch to a conservative tempo so I can slow the game down and hopefully eek out a close victory. I am playing on All-American.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: NCAA Football 14 Demo is Available Now For 360, Post Impressions Here (PS3 Later)
Loved the defense on both sides beat A&M on a pic 13-10 on Varsity, were those fake names or were they people who worked o the game? Getting big kick returns almost took 2 to the house 1 the opening kickoff, loving the computer actually defering instead of receiving all the timeComment

Well...doesn't Oregon run more read option type plays then passes in real life anyways?

Everybody knows Johnny Football is a beast... But holy crap this demo is making him Superman... Kind of annoying... He's literally broken and trucked my LB's in the backfield multiple times... Something's wrong here....
Other than that the game seems to be great lol... Need to tone down the QB running power just a bit... And I'm playing on HEISMAN DEFENSE AND OFFENSE
It almost seems like there's been a dramatic shift. For years it was "grab the fastest players," and now it seems (at least from what I've experienced thus far,) that it's going to shift to, "grab the biggest players."
With the engine and the way the physical aspects of the game work now, very rarely are players going to go down with just one hit, especially a larger RB or QB.
As far as Manzel goes, at least if you're going to be playing a Dynasty, he will eventually be heading to the NFL, LOLComment

Just saw a blocked extra point. Guy broke off a block right up and middle and got to in on a jump/dive. He was on my team, but I was not controlling him. I wasn't even really looking at the screen, unfortunately.
I've now seen three or four guys break through the line on kicking/punting plays in the five games I've played.Writer for Operation Sports

Man I'm trying so hard to temper my excitement but, it's difficult. I really think this game could end up being the best NCAA ever. I sooo hope they keep the retail difficulty the same as the demo. It is great as is. Please don't make it easier EA! I usually do sliders but, so far the game doesn't need any adjustments. All-American is playing great!
-the sound effects are awesome.
-stadium sounds are great.
-the football looks the right size.
-foot planting, foot planting, foot planting!
Really the only thing I would change is penalties. Not getting any. Raising the sliders doesn't matter it seems.Comment
