I assume it's unlimited.

Once I played well into January 2041 but by then it was full of computer generated players.

I'm in the 40-41 season now and I have a really good squad and didn't want it to end on me. 6 Rings in a row

For the posters who are into the 2040's, I'm curious: in 2k12 I had an association into the mid 2030's and two of the players generated were 10 feet tall, and a third under 2 feet. Have you encountered this?

This. By the 5th year all the current stars begin to decline and aside from the more recent rookies your gonna start getting a lot of generic players showing up.

By 2024 everyone is retired except for the 2009-2012 draft class.

I always get bored by 2018-2020 because everyone is generated. But you can play forever. Had a friend make it to 2100 once.

I got bored and in 2016 after making a few salary adjustments I managed to get Kobe and Durant and 2 years before that I signed LeBron and Anthony.

the max was 2050 in 2k12. not sure about this game

I've read somewhere that generated draft classes don't last long. How many years before they're announcing retirement? How deep is the FA pool? And what about the announcing team? I would imagine a typical association game minus real players would be pretty silent.

FA pool has a couple stars but mostly role players and RFAs.
Announcers say last names only so it's pretty weird.
Not sure about the retirement thing although they last maybe 12 years.

Anyone know when the game forces computer generated rookies to retire on an offline association? Hoping it's more than 12 years. Does their durability rating factor heavily in this? Season injuries?
