Which Online Team? What Style of Play?

Figured I would start this thread to see what teams people are planning on using online this year, and what types of offense and defense they would run. I'm expecting a lot of no-huddle spread guys.

I'm going with Notre Dame this year. I like to run the no-huddle spread, and as long as they have Golson (QB #5), I can use them. The other two teams that I was debating were Oregon and Ohio State, but I've got to go with the Irish.

I'm planning on running shotgun about 75-90% of the time. I like to use 3 WRs, 1 TE, and 1 HB every play out of the gun. I'm planning on customizing OSU's playbook, as its been pretty sweet in the demo. Will dumb down the offense to about 6 or 7 formations and about 50-75 plays for the no-huddle.

On defense, I'm going with a 3-4, but I am expecting to use nickel and dime a bunch for the spread offenses I'm expecting to see.

What are you guys planning on doing?

Why use a player thats no longer with the team?

For me i love using dual HB sets. Mostly out of shotgun. Need backs that are fast and can catch. As well as a QB that can run. Mizzou should fit my needs.

I'll probably use San Jose State and Bowling Green online this year

Florida like always.

Hate randoms but its the fastest way to find a match. An the people who won't play unless the team they pick is at least 1-2 letter grades above you're team.

I swear Florida was B's last year and I would go into a match where our teams were even yet they would quickly change to a all A team

This year though half the teams are A's though lol

I love using Pro-style offenses with great running backs so I can run the ball down their throat which sets up the play action nicely. Alabama is my favorite to do this with but since they are going to be 99 all, I might try to find a different team to use in online play.

Second favorite offense to use is the Air Raid. Mid Tenn State is a fun school to use and it's always fun being the underdog. I also use Texas Tech.

Um dude... just because somebody is an Alabama fan is just messed up. Just because a team is good doesn't mean you can't follow them. When Missouri was #1 in 2007 did you immediately turn Chase Daniel's picture to the wall?

For my online Dynasty I'm leaning towards either Iowa, Arizona, Miss St or TCU.

However, for regular online games, I don't have a set team. I usually let my opponent pick their team first and then pick my team which is usually a conference foe or true rival. I then just pick that team's Off and Def PB and run with it.

There's so much variety in NCAA as compared to Madden that I like to try and utilize different game styles when I play online, especially since I'll have a set style for my Dynasty.

I'm going with LA TECH in my one star online dynasty. We don't use custom PBs I'm thinking of trying to run with A&Ms PB for offense, I like it in the demo. I wanna check out more teams when the early release hits tho. Defense I'm going 3-4 or 3-3-5 this year, I use 4-3 every year so something new.

In ranked matches I will use me alma mater, SDSU, if anyone is using a B or lower team, if playing an A team I will probable roll with LSU, my second favorite team.
