Re: A new Jag! (jax hc09)
VICTORY!!
Dennis Dixon threw for close to 300 yards as the Jaguars were able to capitalize on an aggressive gameplan by the Bengals Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati. Several times the Bengals cornerbacks made leaping grabs for the ball, only to have the pass get to the receiver anyway, who was able to turn the miscue into a big gain. The Bengals seemed willing to shut down the Jaguars running attack, but the Jaguars rookie signalcaller made them pay time and time again.

Several players were knocked out of the game, however none are going to miss next week's game.
UP NEXT!! The Detroit Lions!!!
The Lions are really struggling this year with a record of 1-7; which is confusing as they have a tremendous amount of offensive talent. Jon Kitna is the starting quarterback, though at this point they should turn the team over to last year's 2nd round pick Drew Stanton. Starting running back Warrick Dunn is out, but Derrick Ward, Brian Calhoun and Jamal Buckingham will try to fill the void. Roy Williams, Calvin Johnson Mike Furrey, and Shaun McDonald make up an elite receiving corps (all 80+ ovr).
Dwayne White and Orien Harris are starting at DE, while Cory Redding and rookie DeMario Pressley are the tackles. Mayo and Sims give the Lions great linebackers, and while MLB Paris Lenon is out, Mark Simoneau is a capable fill-in. The Lions corners are Leigh Bodden and rookie Torrin Taylor, along with Michael Lehan.
Injury Note: RB Fred Taylor will miss the game, as his sprained thumb needs a couple more days...
