    2013 OS FICTIONAL rosters

    Could we get a sticky on this thread please?

    Sorry for the wait everybody, but 2013 fictional rosters for The Show are here at last! Download them in the roster vault.

    File Name: 2013 OS FICTIONAL v1.0
    Creator: riley_pues

    These rosters include all fictional players, which provides a fun new experience where different teams have the upper hand, and there are no preconceived notions about players or their teams. Players are realistic, yet distinguishable and.very memorable. These rosters are a lot of work, but a lot of fun playing with them.

      Thank you ALL for your hard work and especially King for putting it all together!! I can't wait to get going tonight. I will post some feedback as well.

                  v1.1 will be released in the next day or two.

                  It will include:
                  Updated team and player rankings
                  Improved aesthetics
                  Improved rating logic
                  Greatly improved and more realistic statistical output in franchise

                  I'll let you know when they'll be out. As for now, any questions or comments for me about the rosters ask here!

                      Just say it in the first post. If a mod sees it, they may sticky it for us. Also you should post some specifics of v1.0 in the first post

                          To carry over from the last thread. Paul Bryson is on the Cubs, 81 ovr lefty reliever.

                              Cubs weren't me actually. Is he throwing triple digits?

                                          So my next question is whether or not you feel I should bump it down? Is it unrealistic and needs to be changed or just cool? Haha I'll let you decide

                                              Personally, I think a few guys throwing 100-101 is fine because that is how it is in real-life too with guys like Chapman and Rosenthal.

                                                      Thank you very much for your contribution of these rosters! I really look forward to these every year. I ran a franchise sim with injuries and trades off before work this morning and nothing seemed too out of whack at all.

                                                      League Leaders

                                                      Best BA in each league was .330

                                                      Most HR was 47

                                                      Most SB was 81

                                                      Most W by pitcher was 20 or 21

                                                      K leader had around 260-280, can't remember exactly

                                                      The best record had around 93 wins and the worst had 67, there was pretty good parity

                                                      The Padres beat the Astros in the World Series, haha!

                                                      I didn't dive too much into team statistical categories to see if team BA and ERA was in line, but after seeing the individual leaders, I know all is good enough for me to start a chise!

                                                      The only thing I edited was I took facial hair off the Yankees players...just doesn't seem right!
