Does deleting a stat year (making it -1) remove any awards accumulated by a player in that year?

Lets say I wanted to copy this year with an association, could I sim to the end and then make another association that's starting from today's date, copy all the stats, rosters, etc. so and paste it in another association so that the 1st year is the same as real life? Doing this would make it so I could do a custom draft class. Thanks.Gig'em Aggies!Comment

I think yes you can but it takes having both the REDITOR and Leftos NBA Stat Tracker tool to do it with exporting and importing csv files to the association file. I know that I am going to do something similar to that but after my 1st year association is over with. It's a very tedious and lengthy thing to do so if you don't have the patience and the drive I would recommend you dont do it.Eaglerock562

Well I just heard that you can't do the start from current date so it doesn't matter anymore.I think yes you can but it takes having both the REDITOR and Leftos NBA Stat Tracker tool to do it with exporting and importing csv files to the association file. I had this same problem and posted about it over a month ago in this thread. Never figured it out. I had put in all the stats and awards for the 1987 season roster, and several players wouldn't have their awards and others you couldn't delete. Also couldn't change the stat year to 1987...Originally posted by Wolverine3I inputted all of Allen Iverson's season stats and awards in reditor, but after I loaded the roster up in game, all his season stats show up correctly, but under awards it only shows his all-star games, it doesn't show any of his all-nba teams, mvp, or rookie of the year award. I'm pretty sure I inputted it correctly as it's pretty straight forward. Does anybody have any idea why this didn't work correctly?

Not really sure...my theory is that it's just one of those things that red MC gives the option to edit but just doesn't work. Similar to the playbook names. Even though you can change Playbook names in REDitor, it never shows up edited in game. I am sure Vlad could figure it out, but its likely to be low on his priority list.Originally posted by Wolverine3Hmm yeah it's weird. All of the all-star appearances came through but not the other awards. I wonder whyComment

Re: RED MC [NBA 2K13 REDitor]
Whenever I change players to IsFA, they still show up on there old team but with the NBA logo in the background instead of team logo.
What do I have to do to actually get them off the teams? I am only using the free version right now, is this something that can only be done with the paid version?Comment

you have to remove them from the teams roster in the teams tab, which does cost money.Whenever I change players to IsFA, they still show up on there old team but with the NBA logo in the background instead of team logo.

Re: RED MC [NBA 2K13 REDitor]
Find a roster with VWH's Playbooks, open it in Red MC, go the the playbooks actual tab, ctrl-a to select all, copy, then open your roster you want the playbooks in, go to the PBs actual tab and paste them in.Originally posted by Wolverine3Does anybody know how I can implement vannwolfhawk's playbook into my roster? I am using an older roster before he released the playbook. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks
If you use someone elses roster to copy from I suggest getting their permission first, since inputting them manual is a pain in the butt and takes FOREVER.
Also, your avatar is a little bit big and is stretching/deforming the forum a little bit.Originally posted by Balldude777In this case the lasagna restaurant started selling candy to kids and that became the best revenue stream so they’ve let the lasagna get worse and focused on becoming a candy store. No, the avatar wasn't deformed, it was making the forum messed up because it was too big. But the image is broken for me now so it's all better. On my end at least.Originally posted by Wolverine3Thanks. Just realized the playbooks tab is locked. Probably won't buy it just cause it's only one roster.
I'm not sure what you're talking about with my avatar? It isn't deformed for me.
I think the playbooks tab is one of the cheapest tabs you can get, if memory serves me. Is it a personal roster or a forum roster?
Basically, you send vlad money, and wait for an email that will have your key in it. Took me about 10 hours. Sometimes it takes longer, sometimes it goes quicker. Might take a bit longer since Vlad has been MIA lately. He's probably got school or something right now. I'd expect he comes back soon to answer all the questions us users cannot answer. He's always been really great with post release support.Originally posted by Balldude777In this case the lasagna restaurant started selling candy to kids and that became the best revenue stream so they’ve let the lasagna get worse and focused on becoming a candy store. Re: RED MC [NBA 2K13 REDitor]
Yeah but do I fill out the information in RED-MC, and then he sends an invoice, or do I send him the money and then fill out the information in RED-MC?
*I'm going to do this over PayPal.Last edited by duckSAUCE.; 06-29-2013, 11:55 PM.Comment

Re: RED MC [NBA 2K13 REDitor]
Hey, I'm wondering is there an easy way that I can open an association file and basically set every player rated over 75 to retire after the season? I've done it before but I did it individually and it took forever.
What I did was set the contract thoughts to 'retire' then I set their contract length to end after the first season. And it worked a little too well because it ended up not being enough players in the league and it froze on me. So anyway, I'm wondering is there a way to automate it?
Essentially what I want to do is make all players rated over 75 to retire, and set all players that are left potential to 99 and start a new wave of players. I know it can be done, I'm just wondering is there an easy way to do it?Comment
