Dude, since we don't have college hoops, it'd be cool to play overseas and enter the draft when you feel ready, maybe you have the option after 1-4 years to enter. Hopefully this means the Olympics are implemented into My Player and Association. And hopefully the Olympics venue will change every 4 years like in real life. Which reminds me, they need to have all-star weekend move around the country as years go by in Assoc. and My Player.NBA

Re: NBA 2K14 to Feature Euroleague Teams
Oh my goodness, that would be incredible. If we could make our player 17 years old and start a career in Europe, aahhh! That would just be incredible.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 to Feature Euroleague Teams
The thing about that is they were relatively silent about classic teams going into the release of 2K13. They didn't confirm anything about classic teams until some screens were released showing some of the legends. If 2k silences about the classic teams, they will most likely not be in the game. 2k has a policy of not commenting on things that are gonna be removed.
If classic teams are not in the game, there is zero chance that I`ll be buying NBA 14 this year. I will stick to GTA V all year long.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 to Feature Euroleague Teams
Why would anyone think this is the end of classic teams? I'm sure that 2k wouldn't add these teams to gain a larger European audience and then lose it by removing classic teams
For me, 2k will always be the
basketball video game franchise ever, and I'm sure they'll prove you guys wrong

Re: NBA 2K14 to Feature Euroleague Teams
lol, you COMPLETELY contradict yourself in this post. Of course there's a need to speculate about it, PRECISELY because there's been no mention either for or against.
I'm sure some of the folks on 2K twitter have been inundated with tweets all day asking about classic teams. Like dude said above, complete silence on the topic from them is a bit unsettling. Me personally, I could give 2 craps about Euroleague teams. I understand that some ppl are excited, but those ppl are few and far between. Like has been said, they can't get ratings for NBA players right, and we're supposed to believe that they know anything about the players overseas?
Let's just hope that they fix what's wrong with their game, and not put their main focus on some teams that most ppl probably won't play with more than once or twice for curiosity's sake.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 to Feature Euroleague Teams
I think the fear is of 2K viewing currents, classics, and Euros as a little bit of a full house. We'd be looking at almost 80 teams on 2K14 if the 30 currents stayed, the 30+ classic stayed, and the 14 Euros debuted.
Perhaps 2K could go the route of "what's 14 more?" But it also seems possible they'd opt to change directions and slide away from the classic route. But then I've heard MJ would be returning. My hope is 2K will address classic teams directly prior to the release of their game. Last year, I'm not sure they were ever touched on until the very end of the cycle (if that).Comment

My point is; this is the first info total we have gotten. Why not concentrate on this before talking about what may or not be in the game?lol, you COMPLETELY contradict yourself in this post. I don't see how I could've contradicted myself when I just stated a fact.

Haha. Awesome celebration!
But as the article said, I hope don't have every player doing this by the sideline.

Re: NBA 2K14 to Feature Euroleague Teams
Let's take it a step further, maybe we can have unsigned free agents play in the Euro League while the NBA season is in session. Would be cool to see this incorporated in the game. Have these FA's raise their ratings while they remain unsigned. I would imagine FA's would play overseas instead of waiting by the phone for a contract. And I second the inclusion of D-League! Give us players more options in running a franchise!
Yes I agree with everything you said. Players should get better ratings experience confidence etc while I am playing in association.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 to Feature Euroleague Teams

This photo looks like they added some new animations for the paint. I don't think 2K13 had anything like this where the defender is trying to avoid contact. Of course this is done to not send the shooter to the line for the blocking foul or not get in a poster you know you have no chance of blocking or stopping. If they add the verticality contest that Hibbert and Asik does the most you will really be able to defend the paint.Comment
