Well we know 2k has added 14 european teams. Is this just going to be for play now? Will this be implemented to Association or MyCareer. And is it possible 2k is thinking of adding international teams next? or am i just dreaming.

You may be dreaming i think its just for quick match or if they add a fiba tourney? a man can dream though i would love for it to be in mycareer and to have the draft combine return also would add more depth to that mode

No word on this yet and I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure it's would be integrated into association mode and my player. Otherwise I see no reason at all why they would add them to and NBA game.

Those teams are useless if they serve no purpose in association or myplayer. Maybe you can use the Euroleague players in MyTeam but even then its not really useful.

This is a minor deal breaker for me. I'm waiting to see what else they've implemented in 2K14 for us association players (if we get anything?) otherwise, I'm walking away this year. I enjoy the series and it's my go to game for my basketball fix but sadly, it looks like 2K13 might be my final stop on the PS3.

I don't understand how you can obtain these teams and not find a way to incorporate them into the association mode?! What a waste of disc space. Are people really getting excited at the prospect of playing these E.L. teams against NBA teams?

I feel you there. That said, knowing how they added the USA teams last year and did not allow them to be used for anything else but in quick games (with no ability to edit), it doesn't seem crazy the Euro would follow the same path, at least in year one.

Either way, knowing classic teams remain (hopefully mostly in tact, if not bolstered) and knowing the Euro teams will at least have some realistic opponents (contrary to the Dream Teams in 2K13), I can see myself tinkering in the Euro mode a little bit, just out of the sake of curiosity. I'd likely give each team a shot, at least once, if not more.

Heck, if we can still use reditor for 2K14, some of our talented modders can make the proper shorts size adjustments and create some classic Euroleague teams from, say, the 70s and 80s.

Awesome 14 teams i will never play as or play against. Definitely won't be getting this for current gen! Have a feeling its going to be pretty much the same as 2k13 gameplay wise and all their concentration will be on the next gen.

Plenty of reasons, which have been discussed in the other thread; you could draft players from Europe but keep them there for a few years and let them progress. You could have your My Player go over there and play if he doesn't make an NBA team, etc, etc.
