Wow.... More than anything I was impressed with Kotaku. No number score and detailing how much exposure the reviewer had with the game. Very nice.

Thanks for sharing, it was a good read! This guy is pretty witty.

Scouting, introduced last year, provides enough of a fudge factor for strivers like the Jayhawks. Some kid out in Waco is ignored as a three-star prospect, and then you send a coach to look at him and it turns out he's an 81 overall. I found such a guy, at offensive line, and he and two other all-rounders would define my season more than any game in it that I played.

Awesome!

There are still some weird burps in the new process—like seeing a four-star guy list you as his number one choice, but he has a "dealbreaker" that won't let you add him to your list of prospects. In this case, it was "proximity to home." There's nothing I can do about that, son; we're not moving Kansas to you.

Hilarious! And a bit sad.

Loved the review! This guy seems to share my same belief that you can have fun and memorable seasons without going 12-0 and winning a championship.

Much like this guy, I get a lot of enjoyment out of the game by filling in the details of the 'story' with my imagination. Good review.

Yeah that was refreshing to read. I like that there is no score and the review reads like an extension of posts from our Impressions thread. You can tell Owen really did put a lot of time into the game and overall, seemed to like the new additions and improvements.

I'm looking forward to Tuesday.

i read through it, and liked what he said (especially the part about the K-State Wildcats). it only took me about 45 min to get to the end. i'm so brain dead after the holiday, it's probably not legal for me to even be out in public today.

So far from the reviews it looks like the gameplay is better but still has flaws, the dynasty changes are welcomed, but the presentation still falls flat. That seems fair and unsurprising, really. I have already made peace with the lackluster presentation and am still excited for the game I am about to start playing.
