The RTP Are toned down allot from Madden 13. The stiff arm animations can't be interrupted by other defenders. They just fall over like bowling pins. second and third defenders don't impact the tackle with as much force as in Madden 13.

Usually when they go back later on and re-review these games they drop about a half a point. So an 8.0 is probably more realistically a 7.5. An 8 seems high considering the cons that were mentioned. No game will be a 10 because that's a perfect game, a 9-9.5 is MLB the Show type good, a 8-8.5 in NBA 2k type good. 8 (great) just seems high for such a flawed game.

I think Robert did a good job of noting the game's flaws and factoring them into the final score. 8 seems about right to me - just from a gameplay perspective.

Really appreciate this review. I think it seems fair that the best game of this gen is an 8. Only one other title this gen would I put in the 8 range. I'd agree that there haven't been any 9's.

Accelerated Clock? I like to play full 15 Minute Quarters. This is possible in Madden with the Accelerated Clock function but in NCAA, without it you end up with unrealistic play counts & yardage.

They gave NCAA 13 a better review on IGN and NCAA 13 was NOT a good game.

it's like bizarro world where the Gamespot & IGN reviews actually seem more accurate. Usually those sites overrate games and give them much higher scores than they deserve but this year the game got a 6 from Gamespot and 7.4 from IGN.

Thats not saying much considering its been the only CFB game out... People really must not have experienced anything better in terms of just gaming to make such a statement.. Go play other sports games and see how far behind this dev team is in almost every area... Its disheartening
