Well....after playing the demo nonstop and playing about 12 hours of the early release I'll give some thoughts...
Cutting to the chase....it's the best NCAA ever and its not even close, at least gameplay wise. Even on default AA, the CPU AI is smart, saavy, and mixes up their playcalling. CPU runners are dangerous in the open field and QBs make very good decisions. I think I've seen one "WTF" moment in 12 hours where the CPU may have made a horrible decision. Very impressed.
The running game is a dream and most importantly...every play "works". Quick screens to the WRs work. PA screens work. Counters work. Toss sweeps work. If you call them in the right situations....they all can be successful. That truly opens up your entire playbook..something that couldn't be said in just about every previous iteration of the series.
Now...as for some things that need addressing..there are a few in my opinion. The ones that stand out are....
1. QB accuracy and accuracy slider. The slider isn't necessarily "broken". It's just highly ineffective. As Bob stated in the official review...true overthrows and underthrows by a QB are few and far between. Most incompletions are either interceptions, deflections...or throwing the ball away under pressure.
The slider doesn't appear to address this in an even manner. Slider settings at 0 cause the QBs to not be able to hit much of anything. The problem is...anything above 0....5 to 50....there is no effect it seems. QBs seem to play exactly the same no matter if the setting is at 5, 15, 20, 35, etc. The only true change is at 0 and that is too much IMO. This needs to be fixed.
Again..it's not a "game killer" as most QBs end up with good looking percentages off of tips/INTs/throwaways..but the number of misfires needs to vastly increase IMO.
2. Punts ALWAYS bounce forward. Always. I have yet to see a punt bounce sideways or "die" immediately.
3. The CPU tends to always "go for it" on 4th and inches to 4th and 3 in the redzone. This needs to be tuned. If the game is 10-7, there needs to be times where the CPU ties the game on a field goal instead of going for it. I like the aggression at times..but its not realistic to see an opponent ALWAYS go for it.
Those are the biggest things that stand out to me. Other than those areas...I am wowed by how well this game plays. In every facet. The options, shovel passes, screen game, etc......all play beautifully. Can't wait to start our OD.AUBURN TIGERS

*I need to just compile all my impressions...lol*
Anyways, playing UT vs UF. Scored with Tennessee to go up 7-0 and the announcers were going crazy, not just touchdown Tennessee. Awesome to see excitement from them.Comment

one thing that really tells you about how lazy EA is or how unstable their code is, the conferences are normally in alphabetical order, but because the Big East became the American conference, now they are notComment

Take back what I said about CPU screens = Auto sacks.
CPU has ran them flawlessly in the past few games, including TCU I'm playing right now.
Should have waited a bit before making a big claim like that. Assuming some setting changes did it...
Being a coach mode type player I'm very happy about it

Played one game on AA defense and offense. Me(Nebraska) vs cpu(UCLA) I beat them 35-7 had 9 sacks 5 with my LE. Think I gotta up the difficulty. The thing I like most is players seem to have some weight to them when moving now. It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 14 Available For Season Ticket Subscribers, Post Your Impressions H
After waiting 11 hours for the game to download yesterday finally was able to play a full game earlier. I played as Miami(FL) against Bowling Green neutral site at Soldier Field. Played on AA default with 8 min quarters and 10 speed threshold. A couple of quick things that I noticed is the passing completions by the user and computer where extremely high. I went 17-17 for over 317 yards and the computer was 36-47 for 369 yards no Int's where thrown by both teams. I will say though that only a couple of the passes that where completed by the computer made me say hmmm. Other than that the majority of the passes completed where in the 5-12 yard range. The same was for me I went with high percentage passes and only pushed the ball deep once.
Another thing was the running game was a little tougher when I ran with a normal camera, but once I went to coordinator camera, I had 4 20+ yard runs with Duke Johnson. The one thing I liked about the coordinator camera is you saw the blocks being made and had to stay really patient. Going to tinker with the cameras for a bit to find the one I like best.
I really like the game so far, did not notice any glitches or bugs. Going try some different sliders to try to lower the passing completion percentages for the user and computer.Comment

After waiting for EA to allow Canadians to play the game, I keep getting dirty disc errors. I cannot even play the first quarter of a game. I just deleted the game and am currently downloading it again. 24.5 hours after the game becoming available on EA Season Ticket, I've played 20 minutes of the game. This has been the worst experience I've had with EA Season Ticket. Trying to stay positive, but it's a little frustrating.I am the lesson after the fall.Comment

Ummmm I have a copy non-season ticket and as far as the assist tackle goes, the CPU had none and I had 3 three 3 different players. I'm playing my 2nd game, let me check now. I'm at halftime, I'm using the hurricanes and the CPU is Virginia tech. I have 4 at the half and v.tech has 0.Comment

PS3: Retail(disc)
This game is soo buggy its unbelievable.
-No huddle lag hasn't been fixed
-Interception bug where the game reverses the field is still there
-The game runs really choppy
-Graphics look worst than demo
-Defensive players standing there while qb runs right by them
-The cpu isn't actually smarter this year, they just dumb down your players and increased the run blocking so that the cpu can run the ball.
It actually plays worst than demo, those with the digital version may have a different experience, but this is the disc retail version and it plays sucky.Last edited by prototype561; 07-06-2013, 01:08 PM.Comment

No. You only are entitled to the 5 games only which trumps the date your ticket expires. If yours expired yesterday that means you got NCAA 13 early which means yes you need to get the Season Ticket again to play NCAA 14 early from yesterday on.
Mine ended today so tomorrow IF I want to keep playing the early edition I will have to re-up my season ticket.Joshua:
