I like it better for the most part.. I did get a top 40 recruiting class and then the next year I got a 88 ranked class.. Much more challenging.

They've made it way too streamlined now, no interaction or personalities at all - just all stats.

Nope. The phone call system was boring. I really like the new recruiting.

Not.at.all.

This is much better than the dragged out (pointless) phone call system, etc. It is much more realistic as well with visits, multiple recruits of position, etc.

What personality was there in the previous system? Did you really get excited reading canned one-liners like "Sorry, my mind is made up, coach."

It's way more realistic now too.. No top 10 class with 1-2 star teams.. Players have more personality now.. Some of them have their minds made up where they wanna go.. U have schools battling for prospects.. Plus it doesn't take 10 years.. It's all a positive in my book.

I like parts of the old and parts of the new. Seems a little dull. Hopefully when the newness wears off it isn't super boring.

A huge improvement this year. My single complaint is that you can't adjust the difficulty.

It is much more realistic this year and it doesnt take all my time, mybe the wife wont get as mad this year. lol

It is definitely more difficult and more realistic, but also less interactive. Overall, I like it. I think it's deeper than in the past, but yet requires less time. You pick your prospects, set your points and then adjust instead of having to do the same thing every week.

My biggest issue is that the recruiting board doesn't give you an overview like previous years. I miss being able to see where I stand, if I've offered, when they're visiting, etc. Now, you have to go to each individual recruit to get that info.

If by boring you mean not having to spend hours in menus to point recruiting took hours then yes this year is boring,The last year recruiting was just illusion of doing something.Truthful EA should have just done something to where people who want illusion of recruiting could have it but a automated stuff so that people who want something faster could go have it.I don't think anybody miss those 5 weeks offseason recruiting

The system that is might seem a little bland but i think it was right step and will be the building block for great recruiting in the future when they add on to it,right now recruiting is proving to be challenge the initial stage and i like it

I personally love it. It is definitely more challenging and i love seeing players turn their nose up to my team when i dont bring what they want out of a school. That alone gives players personalities. It definitely has a learning curve to it, but i am glad they made the change. I believe i will enjoy recruiting so much more now.
