Re: NCAA Football 14 Available For Season Ticket Subscribers, Post Your Impressions H
I've played a ton of games already and I'm having fun with it. I started off on Heisman Offense/Heisman Defense for a few games, but I started to dislike that setting on defense. It was too difficult to generate any pressure on the QB, and the CPU would get truck-sized lanes to run through consistently. It seems like no matter what team I played, they were able to consistently move the ball no matter what I did, and I felt like I had to play damn near flawless to win. For that reason, I dropped back down to Heisman Offense/All-American Defense.
These are the scores for the last 5 games with these settings on 8 minute quarters:
Southern Miss 24 (cpu) @ East Carolina 59 (me) - I was a little concerned after blowing out the team so badly, but Southern Miss is a less talented team. The next few games were much more competitive
Army 28 (cpu) @ Air Force 31 (me)
North Carolina 20 (me) @ Virginia Tech 12 (cpu) - North Carolina's 4-2-5 is sweet. I was able to shut down VT's offense with it all game, I'll definitely be using them again.
California 45 (me) @ UCLA 41 (cpu)
Georgia 43 (me) @ Florida State 45 (cpu) (5OT)
I think any slider tweaks I make from this point will be done from this setting. Not a perfect game, but I'm really enjoying it.
