I cant stop a offence on this game for anything. Ive tried everything to blitzing the house on option teams to only rushing 3 linemen. Even when its 3rd and 13 and the QB is in the backfield by himself and I know its pass, so I guess pass and have 8 guys in coverage he still has a receiver wide open. DB's can't cover anyone in this game

what teams are you playing with?if you are playing with crappy teams against good teams, then it is expected to have trouble stopping them.

I have trouble stopping no huddle teams like OU and ASU. I'm with ND

Against users I can't get anyone of the field on 3rd down. I'm not complaining as it doesn't do any good but yeah defense is a little messed up. Oh well.

Well I mean, just because you can't stop it doesn't mean defense is broken. Plenty of us are having a lot of success on defense.

I couldnt make any Stops either when I first started playing. Keep at it, you'll get it figured out.

Yeah I don't know if I would say the defense is broken. I think right now it's harder to user defenders which means that usering will actually be a skill and will require some lab time which is good.

I also think that pre-snap adjustments and taking away reads are more important than ever now. In the past you could just sit in a 2-man under and make play because usering was so easy. Now it seems like you need to have everything together and not just rely on one aspect of defense to be successful. But I could be wrong, i am still experimenting myself and trying to figure this out.

I thought defense was really weak but after reading this thread, it is me. Those of us struggling need to step up our game. We got too used to the same base defenses working.

I agree, but when you have an option team running and you blitz everyone and nobody can stop it when your using plays that are designed to stop the run its a little crazy. I understand skill plays a part and i'm not expecting to stop them every play but when your having little to no success on plays that should be working perfectly against that set. Especially when i'm in my 2nd season and this happens pretty much every game. High ranked offence or not.

The only offense I have struggled against is GT. I was playing as a LB, and I couldn't count how many times I got suckered into the read instead of staying on the QB. I then switched to playing as a safety, and had a little better success; however, like anything it will just take some time to find out what is the right combo. I do love how the option works in this game, it is fun to watch when it gets going.
