Drive Club Interview - Tracks, Clubs, Servers, Damage, Wheel Support & More

Playstationer has posted an interview with Paul Rustchynsky, Alex Perkins and Col Rodgers of Evolution Studios, as they discuss the upcoming PlayStation 4 racer, Drive Club. Below are some of the more interesting pieces of information from the interview.
    • Of the announced cars so far, the Mercedes AMG A45, which goes from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds is the slowest
    • The game will cater to both the sim and arcade racer
    • Tracks are based off of real locations (with tweaks) No off-road tracks (All tracks will be announced at a later date)
    • You can only be in one club at a time (2-12 members per club)
    • Runs at 1080p, working towards the goal of 60FPS
    • At this time there will be no weather effects, time of day will be will be
    • The game will have dedicated servers
    • There will be a championship mode for single play users
    • No need to unlock cars
    • There is vehicle damage
    • Customize your own club events and challenges
    • If you change clubs, you take everything you earned with you
    • As long as the wheel is supported by the PS4, it will work with the game

If you missed them, we have plenty of Drive Club screenshots and videos here.

Nice to see there is an option for a single player mode.
