What speed is everyone using for coach level?
Im 5 games into a dynasty with Idaho and I chose to use the slowest speed for coach level progression. Im starting to feel like that was a bad idea as I am only at level 2 after 7 weeks. Unfortunately there is no option to change it after you start a dynasty.

I think slowest is the only way. On slowest I gained 5 levels my first year, considering what the max is that's a good pace"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

I am using fastest, and kind of regret it. I am 5 games in already level 7. Way too fast. One I started earlier was on default, and at the end of the season I was at level 14. Also it is always good to see someone playing as the Vandals.

I set mine to slowest too, and glad I did. I'm almost level 6 heading into my last game of the regular season.NCAA FB 2003 - 2014 Dynasties

Re: What speed is everyone using for coach level?
I have a question similar to this thread. I run an OD with some friends (7 members total) and I am trying to figure out what to set the speed and starting level at for coaches.
Has anyone simmed just to see what level your coach gets to with normal progression by the 4th or 5th season?
We typically only end up doing around 10 seasons because we play every single game and each season takes us about 3 weeks to get through. I want each of us to have the ability to reach elite coaching status by around the 6th or 7th season, so I was considering starting everyone at Level 5.BROWNS | INDIANS | UT ROCKETS | BUCKEYES | SEMINOLES

Re: What speed is everyone using for coach level?
I'd say starting at level 0, and using default should be fine. You would most likely be in the high 30's in 7 season. If not low 40's.I have a question similar to this thread. Re: What speed is everyone using for coach level?
Unfortunately, I think that option was dropped. This is a major disappointment for me, but I think I'm in the minority, because you are the only other poster I've ever seen ask about this.
EA dropped the ability when the game moved to current gen, and it didn't return until 12. It was still in for 13, but apparently it's gone now, and every time I raise this question I get no responses.
I popped 13 back in to make sure I knew where to look for the option on the last version, it's right before you actually start the dynasty, and it's not there on that screen for 14. My theory is they dropped it in revamping the coaching system.
Before the game released, I assumed it would still be in because I had seen achievement lists which looked like this <achievement> (achievement name)(Coaching Contracts On). So I thought that implied you could turn them off, but I guess not.

Wow... I'm not even trying to be funny but I would legit not have bought this game if I knew I were forced into coaching contracts.Unfortunately, I think that option was dropped. This is a major disappointment for me, but I think I'm in the minority, because you are the only other poster I've ever seen ask about this.

I don't even PLAY the games. I just recruit and then watch/listen to the cpu vs. cpu games while I do paperwork for my business.
What am I going to do now when I have no way of ensuring the players that I'M NOT CONTROLLING don't hit the goals set?
I'm not one of those screw you EA types...
But if I'm constantly subject to coaching carousel goals this game may not make it a week with me. I'll give it a chance.
But I kept the receipt when I bought it. Or more accurately I can still get the receipt out of the trashcan it's close to the top.
This one might be going back.
SMH what kind of idiocy is it to take out features that were in the game and aren't taking up tons of RAM or whatever? How does the carousel being off kill the game? How does killing the option improve the game?
It goes beyond EA because I basically only play NCAA and a few other titles. I buy maybe 3 games a year and use the XBOX to run Netflix for the kids.
I may skip out on the next gen of machines altogether if the few games that matter to me are going to suck more and more. I can run Netflix on my 360.
