Will you Trust EA after all these Years?

Will you once again trust EA Madden after so many years of bad football games?

I know I will not buy another madden till they can prove to me they can make a football game as good as Sony has made the show for baseball.

It may take a while, but this new development team under the leadership of Cam Weber, is slowly but surely restoring faith in EA football. The improvement of the IE2 in NCAA 14 from the IE in Madden 13 is starting to show some promise. Madden 25 current gen should be similar to NCAA 14 but probably better in some ways. Next gen M25 will build off of current gen M25 and take it to a different level, adding things like true step, much improved AI with better contextual awareness, realistic pass blocking technique and logic, as well as living crowds and sidelines.

I think i'm actually going to take the plunge this year. I still want to see a little more of the game, and I will not be buying it until the first roster update comes out. So there may be some problems that pop up that sway me to just rent it from gamefly. However if things look pretty decent from a presentation stand point and there are no major glitches, i'll pick it up. This will be hands down the best Madden of the generation and I will not be switching to next gen for probably another year or so.

EA has been giving me decades of enjoyable games. I'm not picky with my gaming. I trust Ea.

m not sure about trust but it looks like 25 will be the best madden in awhile as long as EA keeps their word... about being on top of stuff and fixing the bugs and glitches in there game via the tuner sets that they implied a few yr's back... but then never used saying there was nothing wrong with the game.

I won't trust them until their games are on par with The Show.

I trust no game developer really, except maybe Stardock. And Paradox.

Re: Will you Trust EA after all these Years?

I have a list of changes I need to see before I buy. Mainly, if weekly practice is the same grind and progressing players still has a terrible interface, I know I won't be able to enjoy CFM. In other words, I don't have any faith or trust, but I have some hope that EA can improve. I'll definitely be paying attention to these boards!

Liked M13 and will enjoy Madden 25 Next Gen.
Yes I want more and more improvements but we are still talking video games. If I like I'll buy, if not I wont and I'll move on.

I really liked Madden 13, Madden 25 looks awesome, so I have no problems with EA.

Re: Will you Trust EA after all these Years?

Well, I had bought every release of Madden all these years until last year. I had bought every release of NCAA Football since it began in 1993 until this year. I honestly don't trust EA at all anymore. I don't know if it has been their exclusive licenses that have eliminated competition, or Peter Moore being there (who I believe would screw over his mother to make a dollar), or both, but this gen has been really bad.

Now I go by opinions of people I know in real life before I buy EA games. I would love to be able to pre order a football game like in the past and expect it to be well made without massive flaws but I am not willing to make that $60 bet anymore. Now I hear that they are raising prices for next gen. it's only getting worse.

well it seems when every new system comes out the game prices go up.... ps2 games were $40 then when ps3 came out they jumped to $60 so it wouldn't surprise me if the games jump another $20 for ps4 and xbox 1. but then again I just looked at gamestop and madden 25 is same prices for all consoles $59.99 so don't look like there going up in price.

I'm going to take a wait and see attitude with Madden this year. I'll be definitely looking to the forums to see what is being said.

Why not try buying the game and staying away from the Madden Forum and see what you think? It seems negatives always out-number the positives and these opinions tend to make the user focus on what's wrong and not what's right (or good).
