QB Accuracy - Realistic Level?
It seems for QB Accuracy (QBA), the most realistic slider that most people have for QBA is between 0-10 for the CPU. Some say Heisman QB's are too good. Well how about varsity or All-American? Or even Freshman for that matter. Last year someone had a really good set of CPU v CPU sliders on Freshman level that played well, that is if you like CPU only.

Re: QB Accuracy - Realistic Level?
This doesn't answer your question, but IMO this year more than ever it's not just QBA it's the pass block as well. With accuracy at 5 for user and 10 for CPU on heisman I've seen very realistic incompletions fro, both sides when pressure was in the QBs face"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

It was same last year, specially in 4th quarter when AI gets some sort of boost and start pass blocking with 6-7 (i have seen even 8 at times) players. It turns CPU QB's into passing machine.Comment

Re: QB Accuracy - Realistic Level?
QBA is set to 10 for both hum/cpu in my set and I am getting great results with a combination of wr catching at 40/45, and OPI/DPI both at 25 (increases wr/db agressiveness ) Heisman qb's aren't unstoppable but you can't let them just sit in the pocket. Pressure busts pipes. Check out my slider set and let me know what you think, the stats will speak for themselves.

Re: QB Accuracy - Realistic Level?
i'm not sure if the sliders are affecting supersim or not, but my last game as an OC, the cpu offense only completed 29% of their passes on with an accuracy slider of 10. i'm going to leave it there for a few games as i play some better teams and see if my results are the same.
as far as actual gameplay goes, a QBA of 5 seems to be a good place for the team i control. i play on varsity and get a decent number of incompletions. it still isn't good enough though. put it on 0 and the qb may as well be tripping on quaaludes out there.Comment

Re: QB Accuracy - Realistic Level?
I checked out your stats, they look pretty solid, I got the game, but haven't had a chance to get into it. I will check these out. It seems no matter what level 10 seems to be about right. Are you seeing any over throws?QBA is set to 10 for both hum/cpu in my set and I am getting great results with a combination of wr catching at 40/45, and OPI/DPI both at 25 (increases wr/db agressiveness ) Heisman qb's aren't unstoppable but you can't let them just sit in the pocket. Re: QB Accuracy - Realistic Level?
5 definitely gets accurate comp. % but way too many stupid animations throwing and lots of dud passes that aren't realistic
10 is good for a variety of over / under throws. But then it's fairly easy for avg QB to throw for 70% without adjusting catching to make more drops.J-E-T-S

Re: QB Accuracy - Realistic Level?
I'm getting a good mix of over/under throws with my set, getting pressure on qb helps with completion percentage, I think i'm avg 3-5 sacks a game, with a 93 ovr defense. On default the pass rush is seriously lacking for sure.

Re: QB Accuracy - Realistic Level?
5 is too unrealistic for me. My QB is missing his receivers who are totally wide open. I put it up to 10.Comment

EA needs to seriously fix this passing game, at 5 seems inaccurate and 10 seems too accurate.Comment

Re: QB Accuracy - Realistic Level?
I am getting good numbers on my set. The key is to not only lower cpu pass rush a tad so that you pressure on qb, but also drop wr catch. The elite qb's still get 65% + but even they dont' all the time. Also, changing roughing the passer to a higher setting will make it harder for you to get to pressure on the qb.

I have been testing for CPU v CPU games and I am also seeing overly powered run blocking as well. Is your set pretty much wrapped up?I am getting good numbers on my set. Re: QB Accuracy - Realistic Level?
I haven't made any changes in my sliders since beginning of week 3 in my dynasty so as of right now they are good to go. This set is rip, roarin, and ready to be enjoyed.

Re: QB Accuracy - Realistic Level?
I didn't want to start a new thread but I did want some input into the user QBA 5/10 discussion. I just played Navy as Army at the end of my 2nd season as the Army OC. A.J Schurr is my QB and he is 83 or so overall I believe, with mid 80's for THP and THA. Against Army he was 3/15 before I pulled him for the backup who was similarly terrible.
I have my QBA on 5 for users, and both my QBs in this game and the one before were missing wide open WRs by a good 10 feet minimum and I have no idea why. It made winning impossible, and I lost both games. I had a few throws that were contested, but for the majority of the incompletions, there was no DB near my WR. The QB just couldn't hit the receiver.
I don't want to suddenly shred the CPU for 500 yards passing a game if i put user QBA up to 10, does it still remain fairly realistic but removes the ridiculous Tim Tebow NFL style passing attempts?Comment
