Post Your End of Season BCS Standings

In years past this has always been an aggravating part of the game, with teams like Army or 3 loss teams going to the national championship, so I was pleasantly surprised with how the end of my first season looked in the BCS standings. I do still think a non-AQ undefeated school would have been above the 1 loss Alabama had it come to it, as NIU was ranked 3rd only behind undefeated Ohio State and Texas A&M up until week 9 or so. At least the simmed games were much better and these weaker teams ended up with 2 losses or more.

The knee jerk reactions of years past is still present, but to a much lesser degree. Notice Texas A & M is below Texas, they were ranked 2nd before I beat them in the SEC Championship with South Carolina, and instead of being ranked just ahead of Texas they put them behind them, which is clearly not accurate.

    10. Kansas State (10-3)
    11. Boise State (11-3)
    12. Georgia Tech (10-3)
    13. Michigan State (10-3)
    14. Washington (10-4)

only 2 that bother me are Georgia and Northern Illinois.
Georgia lost to South Carolina (OT), LSU (10), Tennessee (17) and Missouri (3), started 2-4, and losing 3 consecutive game, but won 7 straight to finish the year, beating Louisville in the Sugar Bowl
Northern Illinois was 12-0 and #3, then lost to Ohio by 14 and Oklahoma by the same margin in the Fiesta Bowl

Re: Post Your End of Season BCS Standings

Here's the final rankings after my first season. I had lost to LSU during the regular season, scraped by with a 23-20 win in OT over Auburn, then I backed into the NC after an unranked Michigan squad took down #2 Ohio State and then #23 Clemson upset undefeated #3 Miami in the ACC Championship. I was able to defeat #1 Oregon, but the task was made easier because both QB Mariota and RB Thomas missed the game due to prior injuries.

      1. Alabama 13-1
      2. Florida 13-1
      3. Notre Dame 11-2
      4. Oregon 13-1
      5. Miami 13-1
      6. Washington 11-2
      7. Ohio State 13-1
      8. Texas A&M 11-2
      9. Oklahoma 10-3
      10. Kansas St. 10-3
      11. Michigan 9-4
      12. Virginia Tech 10-3
      13. South Carolina 9-4
      14. LSU 9-4
      15. Georgia Tech 9-4
      16. San Diego St. 11-3
      17. UL Lafayette 11-2
      18. Indiana 9-4
      19. Nebraska 9-4
      20. Missouri 8-5
      21. UCLA 9-4
      22. Texas 9-4
      23. Fresno St. 10-3
      24. Boise St. 10-4
      25. Baylor 9-4

Interesting to see Washington finish at 6. What I really liked (and surprising) is how on the following season, even though I was defending NC, I came in ranked 12th to begin the season.

All I know is that I'm in week 2 and Alabama lost to Virginia Tech in week 1, Boise State lost to a FCS team, and LSU lost to Louisiana–Lafayette.

So far, only the OP has the correct final standings.

The standings look a little better than years past. canesfins results are worrisome though.

To be fair, canesfins is using custom conferences, which might mess with results somehow.

I have no idea but they beat my Gamecocks week 14, but that was only their 5th win all year. No clue why. Stanford also did horrible in my season.

Looks like the predicted PAC winners don't do well. My Washington dynasty has both Stanford and Oregon struggling.

This person summed 10 times and USC won the PAC six times. UO and Stanford won zero. http://www.sbnation.com/college-foot...ion-best-teams

I don't remember the exact stuff from my first season, but it seems like a lot more upsets happen now. I don't like the SEC at all, but Alabama lost like 4 games in mine, no team went undefeated besides Fresno State, I think besides Florida and some non-bcs teams every other team had at least two losses.

Biggest surprise in my first season is that in one of the weeks, everyone in the top 5 lost. It might help make parity more common, I suppose.

Oregon beat UCLA for the title in my season. As I mentioned earlier though Stanford did horrible, not sure what they finished but at one point they were 1-6.

This kind of season was fairly standard last year, which is why I was pleasantly surprised with how my first season turned out. I don't think I ever saw Alabama lose less than 3 games in '13, so I was fairly pleased to see them beat Ohio State for the title and end up 12-1.
