Leave everything pertaining to the draft in the Pro Football forum. If you're in this to enhance your pro football experience, then you're in it for the wrong reasons.

Other than that I really don't care what you do. In the end you'll probably wind up enjoying college football more than the NFL.
Gronk, do everything Watson told you not to. And add even more on by following:

You can't go wrong with picking a local team, so for you it would be maybe Maryland, (which in a year will be cool because of the Big 10), or Penn State/VTech, however if you want a flashy team with a ton of fans and at the same time a team that epitomizes tradition, you can't go wrong with Michigan. Michigan embodies the 'tough, blue collar' attitude that you seek in a team.
College - Michigan Wolverines & North Carolina Tar Heels
        NFL - Carolina Panthers
        MLB - Detroit Tigers
        NHL - Detroit Red Wings
NBA - Charlotte Hornets & Chicago Bulls

NCAA Football 14 - Michigan Wolverines Dynasty

2014 - 14-0, Big Ten champion, BCS National Champions (41-14 over #2 ULL)

Nebraska has lots of tradition. We're a tough team, with a little bit of flash and excitement.

We also have a tendency to blow games on National Television, but other than that, being a Nebraska fan is awesome.

Man that Michigan dude was funny as heck and made some great points that I didn't see really countered in any way other than the ban. Wonder what he did to get banned other than being right?

              Either way Go Blue! LOL

I would be a Michigan fan if I were u OP. I've been to the Big House and Byrd and there's no comparison. UMD will get the occasional local star once in a while (Vernon Davis) but other than that they'll never contend.

And as that sage gentleman mentioned, Michigan has a great track record of recruiting MD area talent going back to Dhani Jones and even Walter Cross (who tore up PG County HS Ball but never played much at U of M). Not to mention the basketball team (Rumeal Robinson, Bernard Robinson) and even minor sports (Michael Phelps and Derek Jeter). If you want the greatest players in every sport and want to see us whoop up on Tattoo U, I mean DeVry, I mean Ohio State aka the only school where you can do Med School online and actually considered a for real doctor (scary isn't it you're better off using a T-Shirt as a tourniquet and driving to a hospital in a more educated state like Kentucky) LOL ... come on down.

If you want to cheer on the Maurice Clarett, Aaron Hernandez, Terell Pryor's of the world I can point you in another direction but it ain't pretty LMAO.

He was degrading and belittling other OS members.

And it's kinda weird how rearranging the letters in your username is FU im back, and you post like he did...

Oh and Derek Jeter never played for Michigan, he just got a scholarship offer. Not to mention Michael Phelps had that little marijuana issue.

I'm a FIU and Michigan fan who played HB in high school hence FI UM Back and we probably went to the same school had the same professors and were taught to write the same way by the same people.

But I think there's a fine line between belittling and just fun sports banter. I have a lot of relatives that went to tOSU. (Only reason I know so much about the med program... my cousin was in it LOL). We go back and forth all the time it's all in good fun. Nothing to take personal it's part of the fun of discussion. I thought bans were reserved for being racist, homophobic etc. not banter...

Either way I would encourage the guy to be a U of M fan. He can still keep MD as his second team and keep an eye on them in the B1G.

Michigan just signed a great class and has a bright future. With Denard gone we'll see much less spread and a return to the traditional football U of M is known for. Gardner to Funchess, later Morris handing off to Green. It's going to be more pro style and back to what we were doing on offense under Lloyd Carr for so long.

Jeter... He's family... would've went to U of M but made the smart financial decision and went pro.

And if you were referring to the camera phone spy who took the picture of Michael Phelps with a tobacco pipe some people choose to insert Marijuana into, I don't think that picture establishes his guilt of marijuana use. I didn't see any marijuana in the picture. Only Phelps, one of our proudest Olympic champions, with a water tobacco pipe.
