Re: Madden NFL 25 Screenshot Comparison - Robert Griffin III Current Gen vs. Next-Gen

Graphics have never been a problem for Madden. I could care less if the graphics improved or even if they got worse. What I care about is how the game plays when it is in MOTION. Madden is the best looking sports game ever... WHEN IT'S STILL. The horror show begins when it starts moving. Player movement, realistic animations, player mannerisms, penalties, correct rules, etc. etc. are the main concern here. Will we finally be rid of the synchronous animations? Will player movement still be robotic and stiff? Will the ball physics remain an issue? Will deflected passes be caught by receivers who are 30 yards down field and magically rush back for the catch? Will we finally have a realistic injury system? Will the pocket form correctly?

These are the things that will make or break Madden. If the next gen version doesn't have that wow factor, this game is toast.

i don't think so, one they always touch up their pictures...two you can clearly tell that the next gen pics has more details on the player, better lighting differences...hack RG3 hair shows in the next gen not sure why he cldn't have them in current gen lol

Current Gen.... RGIII Mouth open, eyes looking down the field, somewhat natural, the colors look good.

Next Gen..... Souless face, looks like a wax doll, way too many scuffs on the helmet, broken wrist.
can't say its too many marks on the helmet when you don't know what that player been through during the game and what qrt its in...you got to remember next gen is able to put in more details that they was never able to do before..

Right, you never know if RG3 decided to use his helmet in a game of asphalt bowling before kickoff. That's the only explanation for his helmet to look remotely that trashed, it looks ****ing ridiculous.

the lines of the marks might be little too long but other then that i seen worse in real life on football helmets

in the last picture its not really any marks on his helmet..so that part shows me how all the equipment details can change through out the game..which is realistic to the game of football

Next gen you can see more nose hair. There's not enough for current gen. Also, his eyes aren't brown, they're blue. CMON EA GET IT TOGETHER. What's wrong with madden? People nit picking on their forums over crap like this that has nothing to do with gameplay. I could care less what brand of arm pad Arian Foster wears.

Also - the crowd looks a bit more defined in the next-gen shot.

I think the screenshots are somewhat comparable but of course there is more detail in the next gen version, ppl are not catching such as the higher def, more detail in player models (look at his arms/hands in the next gen shots) and MUCH more realistic and sharper depth of field.
Just cuz you pour syrup on ish....

Current gen- has way too many fans in the crowd behind him
Next gen- they don't have his left shoelace under the tape laced tight enough... C'mon ea
