    Real Deal Gridiron Heisman Sliders

    ***Final***(8/23/13)
This set is final as long as tuning updates don't screw things up. I feel really good about the overall game play this set provides. Use as a base and adjust to your play style. This set is not for everybody. If you like to win every game with a mediocre team its not for you, if you like to lead the nation defensively with a fair to midland defense it is not for you. Rivalry and bowl games are tough as they should be. With that said hit the sticks and have fun, you might win a National Championship in 3-5 years

I recommend moving ALL coach's substitution sliders to 75. I mass modified a copy of OS Community rosters if anyone wants it. Inhumaneyeti on XBL or download below, rehash and resign.

    Punt Acc 40/40

    Recommended adjustments for common issues:

user run game is too strong
: bump cpu rush d to 25/50/75/100 and bump cpu tackle to 75
user run game is too weak: lower cpu tackle to 60/65 and/or increase user run blck.

cpu run game is too strong:
bump user tackle to 35/40 and/or lower cpu RBA back to default 50
cpu run game is too weak: bump cpu RBA to 70/75 and lower user tckl to 25

I can't complete passes: bump user QBA to 5
cpu completes too many passes: lower cpu WR catch to 35/30

I've been playing with user tckl 25, cpu RBA 75 and the cpu runs with some real authority now, adds that extra bit of challenge on defense. Also been playing with cpu Rush D 100, cpu tckl 75 and the cpu brings the boom against the run.

Can you play a game between two SEC teams with good defenses and post results? Would be much appreciated.

You would think with Hum run block at 50 and CPU def at 0 you would roll over them, your stats seem very realistic. I will check these out tomorrow. I play either coach or CPU v CPU , so I don't know how they will work for me, it looks like you are getting realistic games.

Buckeye. I couldn't tell you about coach or cpu v cpu. Not something I have ever tried but I do hope they work for you.

I'm going to try these out in Play Now... Only changes are Normal Speed with 9 Minute Quarters.... Will post in a few.... Probably only play a half not sure on time for full...

Ok I was Texas and played Texas A&M....Lost 54 to 28... It was a good game overall... I just need to up my game... lol.. Total Yards were 503 to 466 favor of A&M.... Johnny Football tore me up for 23 of 28 for 281 yards and 4 scores he also rushed 9 times for 126 yards.. My hb had 27 carries for 163 with a touchdown... My passing was atrocious had 2 int's with 18 of 39 passing for 325 and 2 scores...

Also, they were called for 2 clipping penalties one which negated a TD for A&M, and was a huge sigh of relief for me... Score was 10 to 7 A&M after First, 21 to 17 at the half, and then the wheels came off for me and ended up losing 54 to 28..... Overall I liked the sliders... I can move the ball at times and get stuffed other times.... My defense needs to get better also.... A&M ran no huddle pretty much the entire game too.... I think I will stick with these and play a couple more games to get better for myself and get my dynasty rolling.... Thanks for your hard work....

Re: Real Deal Gridiron Heisman Sliders

I played a game with the previous version of the sliders. and beat Washington with UCLA 35-30 on 6 min quarters.

                  The stats were
                  Wash/UCLA
                  Total offense: 320/363
                  first downs: 18/16
                  rushes: 24-96/ 29-111
                  passing: 18-33/14-19
                  passing yards: 224/252
                  turnovers 1/3

The Washington RB broke a lot of tackles, and they were taking it to me in the first half. I came back in the second half and once they got down they kind of went away from the run. I sacked them a few times for pretty big yardage, which really dropped their totals. Both both of their running backs averaged over 5 yards per carry, and ran at will vs me.

I usually don't play Heisman, but this was a really fun game. I'll play a new game at some point with the latest changes. What do you guys use for the kick off power? I dropped it to 25 for this game and I basically kicked each ball out of the back of the endzone.

Also, first time in a long time that I played on Heisman. Does the assist that helps you cover a WR on a pass get eliminated on Heisman? It was working for me on AA. Good sliders dude, best game I've played on it this year.

EDIT: Also, does anyone notice a difference in the same sliders in play now or dynasty? I did a dynasty in this case. My friend tried a play now, and wasn't as impressed with them.

Re: Real Deal Gridiron Heisman Sliders

I have only used them and tested them in Dynasty. I have read that they behave differently in exhibition than in dynasty but I don't know, I know that sliders were like that in madden.

I have no clue about the coverage assist, I play the SS position and end up in cvg quite often and get beat quite often (those damn TE lol). Would be interesting to know for sure.

I leave FG pow at 50 and acc at 40. I've never used a team with a powerful kicker, always mid 80s and i've never made a fg over 48 yds. It seems to be right, I always check the cpu fg power if the attempt a long one, have seen a few but have seen the weak/low accuracy miss them. Either NC State or Miami missed 3 of 50+ on me. I had FG Pow at 55 until a cpu kicker with 84 pow kicked a 59 yd no wind so I lowered it. I have also read that the acc affects the powr as well, but don't quote me on that.

Thanks for using my sliders, I'm glad you enjoy them. As of right now they are set so I can enjoy my 2 dynasties. Maryland yr 2 just won ACC champ. and Ole Miss year one, I have Bama next and I'm terrified, for real.

Ok cool, I was just wondering if maybe I missed something with the assisted covg.

The kick power for the field goals seems perfect. The only thing I've noticed is just on the kickoffs. I havent checked the kick power of the UCLA kicker, so that may be the issue because I noticed Clemson had 100 return yards against you so it seems like its working.

Yeah I have had several teams return kicks on me or get really good return yardage.

You want to know why I don't play on All American? Because those close games will always go in your favor on AA. On Heisman those close games don't go your way every time. Something to think about for you guys.

I played this game twice. The first time with user catch at 45, and the second at 40. Needless to say I barely won both times. What I did notice though was my completion % was too high in the first game and passing game seemed to easy, especially against BAMA.

The second game felt right, I felt like I was playing BAMA. BAMA was winning at the half 20-17 and got the ball back after halftime. On the opening kickoff return they got a clipping call that left them on the 1 yd line, I sent the house and got the safety. That was the turning point of the game. BAMA did make a last minute push and got inside my 50 with less than :15 on the clock but the bonehead AI didn't kick a fg, ran a hurry up and let 8 sec run off before they snapped it, it was incomplete pass game over. It was a long FG attempt (60+) though if they tried it and they missed one early, a 49 yd, but made a 57 yd before half, also to note AJ McCarron bombed one deep over me to score before halftime, it was beautiful.

Ok these may be the best sliders I've played with. I've only played one game with them (and a few tweaks of my own), but it is by far the best game I've played so far.

                              UMD - 41
                              FSU - 44 (me)

The changes I made were to the game speed, qba, pass blocking, and int. Everything else is how you have it.

                              Here are my full sliders.

                              Difficulty - All Heisman
                              Qtr length - 8 min
                              Spd Thres - 0
                              Game Speed - Normal

                              QBA - 5/5

Penalty sliders are the same as the OP.

I'm playing another game in a few minutes and I'll put in a message on how it goes.

I'm excited about these because I have tried many slider sets, and they haven't been competitive enough so far. Hopefully these are the answer!

Let me know what you guys think of my changes please!
