    Sleeper Programs

Anyone know of any schools that have some good recruiting pitches that don't change easily (i.e. Academic Prestige, Campus Lifestyle, Conference Prestige, TV Exposure). Maybe not the top 25 schools that you typically think of, but a school that could be built into a school that challenges for national championships with some on field success.

Right now I'm thinking Georgia Tech, Vandy, UNC, BYU, Virginia, Cal

Most every school in the Pac 12 has good Academic pitch. Hence all our good natured joking with the SEC teams in real life about their players ie ability to read.

            AAC: Rutgers
ACC: Virginia Tech, UNC, or Georgia Tech
            B1G: Mich St., Iowa, Purdue
            B12: Baylor
            PAC-10/12/whateveritisnow: Washington

I don't know about the pitches, but all these teams could be contenders if they played well.
            NFL - Indianapolis Colts
            NCAA (anything) - Indiana Hoosiers

San Diego St (3*) or Fresno St. (2*) Both recruit in California so you get a ton of pipeline recruits.

I'm likely the only person running with Northwestern, but you start with an incredible option offense (Colter, Mark and Trumpy), and after Colter leaves you have a season of Trevor Simien. The recruiting pitches are really solid, too - especially if you're looking for academic players.

Not to mention you get to pull from the Illinois recruiting stack and the uniforms are sharp.

Hawaii has an A+ for campus lifestyle and I'm guessing a B+ for close to home for recruits out of Cali.

Crazy good receiving core and Roberson, an extreme dual threat running the show.

In NCAA 2013, Rice had an A+ academic rating. I don't know about 2014 though

I agree with you that Cal is a good choice. Lot's of good recruiting pitches, new uni's might be in uniform dlc, potential all conference in LOLB: Nick Forbes, fast fast fast HB Brendan Bigelow. Could easily rebuild them in a few years.
