It's not anger it's frustration and its not whining it's constructive critisim. How would they know what the fans want unless we say something.

Yes but there are already tons of other feedback threads. Jumping on every other thread and saying the same things isn't going to do anything.

And I don't think its constructive criticism when people are jumping to ill logical conclusions that by spending time on this then they are ignoring other portions of the game.

Regardless of whether this mode is any good or not, I'm likely to play it a grand total of once, if that.

I'm not even mad that it's included (though I do think it's a giant waste of time). I just couldn't care less. It would be nice if they'd work on little nuances that the game is missing or do something like put the Bauer 4500 helmet back in the game instead of blue ice and old school celebrations. I mean, the reason gear is limited is a memory thing, right? So blue ice and stuff is more important than the helmet that Stamkos, Toews, Sharp, Seabrook, Malkin, Callahan, and literally dozens of other high profile players wear?

to each their own..

with that said, whats fun about a new mode, thats not even really new?

you can play NHL 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, and 13 like the "new" NHL 94 mode. you can turn off all penalties and play just like they did in the video.

oh, but no blue ice or original NHL 94 playing on the jumbo tron.

oh, and offline only? huh?

no doubt people will have fun with it, but man....

just stinks, year after year, nothing that we have been talking about since 07 gets fixed or tweaked. nothing. yet them we have to hear about this new game mode.

very frustrating to say the least.

I am not an NBA fan, I only watch it during conf. finals and the finals (yea same thing with MLB) so I am not playing and buying NBA every year (my last was nba 2k11, just because MJ is in NBA).

Anyhow, I am playing NBA's "MyCareer". Sure, there are some areas to improve this mode according to the expert gamers of this mode, but I like it! MyCareer is FAR SUPERIOR than EA's NHL. Presentation and the music during pregame and halftime in NBA is awesome to say the least (and I am not big fan of their music tracks). NHL Presentation...is there one???

And yet they are same price at the release date. Every year, there's not much difference in NHL. I DONT KNOW WHY. If I compare NBA 2k11 and 2k13, I can see the glaring difference. NHL 2011 and 2013 not much of a difference, just adding and deduction of some features.

Now, adding NHL 94 and with the blue ice, offline only...is that worth $60??? I am really staying away from NHL for awhile until I see vast improvements in every aspects of this game.

Soooooo,...EA had NHL14 on display in NY yesterday from 4:00 to 7:30 PM and so far, I haven't found one impression anywhere on the internets.

Ramjagsing had to have swallowed the blue pill in order to be a spokesperson for EA, seriously. As if NHL 94 arcade mode looks and plays much different from so-called simulation mode. What a company.
