Was me, as I thought you were still waiting for paperwork to be done and thus werent officialy signed, therefor available ... but great to see is all ok now.
Agreed, all true, there are many things in play when in such situation.
What most of the conspiracy theory people fail to understand is that the members arent even handed a complete version of the game, they interact with a very limited portion of it, like a demo but of a much early build.
There were people wanting to "hang" the members when they probably were given a very close version of the demo that was played in gamescon and that later was also available to us all as a preview of the game. In such builds it was hard to identify (I know I didnt) any of the issues we later acknowledged, and we only did so after many hours and games and modes played.
If the devs are truely gathering info and willing to try and further implement the corrections/suggestions, these events are very helpfull.
I think that 2k does a commendable job of trying to appeal to both markets: sim heads and casuals, but
I would like to make a suggestion tho. I would like 2K to do 2 separate events as those 2 markets are quite that distinct. As I have said before, there is only so much that a sole sim (or casual) representant can contribute, such mixed groups would be no better than a dev trying to gather info from the multitude of threads (even if many are usefull) here at OS, the message is that diluted.
The message from those very specific communities should get more clear if the groups are focused.
So here is to hope for that and for what Chris (LD2K) said, about being able to bring those groups early on the dev cycle so some of the suggestions/corrections can be implemented.
