Best Release of NCAA Football for PS3???
With all the bugs that came with NCAA Football 14, it hardly lives up to all of its' hype and doesn't even come close to a $60 value. I can foresee a lot of returns if EA Sports doesn't act quickly. It actually has me considering purchasing the best previous version & just rolling with it from here on. So, what do you think was the best release of NCAA Football on the PS3??? I listed the cover athlete with each version to help refresh memories.83NCAA Football 08 (Jared Zabransky)0%1NCAA Football 09 (Matt Ryan)0%2NCAA Football 10 (Brian Johnson)0%0NCAA Football 11 (Tim Tebow)0%13NCAA Football 12 (Mark Ingram)0%8NCAA Football 13 (Robert Griffin III)0%4NCAA Football 14 (Denard Robinson)0%48None - All Releases for PS3 Have Sucked!!!0%7Tags: None -
Re: Best Release of NCAA Football for PS3???
I've owned and played everyone of them, I'm gonna have to say that 14 is the best realesed on PS3. I'd have to go back to the PS2 version with all the FCS teams to find one better IMO.
Love the new scouting feature, upsets in dynasty are nowhere near as bad as they were in 13. I honestly haven't noticed any bugs in 14. -
Re: Best Release of NCAA Football for PS3???
Current-gen, absolutely.
It's got it's bugs, but I would choose it over every other current-gen NCAA that was made. Coaching Carosuel is better than it was, foot planting was a huge addition that just makes the game feel some much better and the lines seem to actually let you do some work in the pocket.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

Re: Best Release of NCAA Football for PS3???
I hate this game because of the bugs.
"The commissioner has made changes and you are forced to restart." This has happened to me at least 5 times already and im only in week 9 of my online dynasty. Replaying games sucks.Comment

Re: Best Release of NCAA Football for PS3???
Thanks for your input...I value different viewpoints...but...I'm going to have to respectfully disagree & I'm shocked 14 is leading the poll right now. I guess it's all about what's important to the player. I'm an avid online dynasty player and that's pretty much all I do with the game. There's been overwhelming reports of a broken coach carousel where only the commissioner will receive new job offers. Once they accept/decline...bang! It's over. The DB glitch is also very evident as apparently nothing was done to offset it from last year. If you don't know what it is pay attention to how the CPU on Heisman & All-American levels will automatically go to aggressive pass coverage late in the game. It's easy TD's over & over in the passing game & takes a lot plays out of your playbook until you want to take advantage of the glitch. Again, thanks but just can't agree with NCAA 13 or NCAA 14 being the best ever.I've owned and played everyone of them, I'm gonna have to say that 14 is the best realesed on PS3. I'd have to go back to the PS2 version with all the FCS teams to find one better IMO.

Re: Best Release of NCAA Football for PS3???
I haven't played NCAA '14 yet, but here's my thoughts on each game that I've played:
NCAA '10: Hard to really say how good it was since it was my first experience on this gen. I remember playing it a decent amount and using teambuilder schools almost elusively. Overall I don't remember it being that bad.
NCAA '11: I played a lot of this game and don't remember a lot of the glitches that have plagued recent versions.
NCAA '12: Initially I thought this game had a lot of bugs/glitches and didn't put up enough of a challenge, but a few house rules and SECElite's Heisman sliders and I wound up playing about 10 seasons of a dynasty.
NCAA '13: Terrible. DB Glitch. Option still broken. Sliders seemed broken. Just terrible. First time I've ever traded in NCAA early.
Personally, I still have '12, but if I decide to pass on NCAA '14 I think I'd go back to '11 first and see how it stacks up compared to '12.Comment

I liked 11 the best. 14 has a ton of issues for me.Comment

Re: Best Release of NCAA Football for PS3???
I skipped 2013.
I would say 2014 easily. I play primarily in the Offline Dynasty mode. I feel they have improved that mode a great deal, especially with the point-system for recruits.
I also have to say the Option variety and execution is better than any previous version I remember.
Playing games on Heisman level out of the box, my games come out realistic and balanced (using 7 minute quarters).
I think the pregame and post game presentations have taken a step back... Also there are some bugs. Not game-breaking, but if they dont fix them, it could potentially knock this game down a peg.Comment
