They took the lead with 49 seconds to go. I got down to about the 35 maybe with 3 seconds left and throw a Hail Mary.....directly to Eddie George for the win!
I actually got lit up by their FB...couldn't stop the inside fullback dive...
When I played them, they ran a read option almost every play on the first drive, and tore up my defense. Then, I started blitzing like crazy and that seemed to stop them quite easily. RG3 couldn't throw against a cover 2, and I got a pick in the endzone to seal the deal.
First game against that team I lost on a Hail Mary. 2nd game I gave up a Hail Mary to end the first half that threw me out of wack and I ended up losing. 3rd time I just played horribly and quit at halftime. 4th game I had it won when I got disconnected from the servers and thus the game didn't count. Then I finally beat them by manipulating the clock. Won 28-21 scoring with 7 seconds left. I had 4 legitimate posessions while they only got 3.
Pretty even game when I played them. Still won on the first try though. Stand out play was Bo going up the middle, trucking Takeo Spikes, and outrunning my entire secondary for a 72-yard TD.
We were tied 14-14 near the end of the half and I forced an RGIII fumble. I was able to take the lead 21-14 to start the second half. They tied it up in the 4th quarter, then I went ball control and ran the clock down, making a 43-yard FG to end the game and take it 24-21.
I don't know why, but the CPU AI just plays better than the user AI on that level. On one run, RG3 trucked about 4 guys, including a LB when he was still just standing in the pocket. If it was Tebow or Cam, I'd be ok with it, but RG3? He can't truck 250 pound LB's who are coming full speed
I'm already sick of the CPU DBs who jump out of the stadium to intercept passes that go anywhere close to them. I just got picked off by Patrick Peterson, Morris Claiborne and Michael Huff ON THREE CONSECUTIVE DRIVES.
Then you have the fact that (A) my defense refuses to cover the receivers if I play any type of zone and (B) Bo Jackson breaks at least two tackles on every play. It's ridiculous. However, I guess that's how it should be. They don't call it the Impossible Challenge for nothing.
I won 14-7 on first attempt. Played HEAVY clock control, running all game. Only threw one pass, to convert a 3rd and long. Had a 15 minute/5 minute time of possession advantage. You just have to make first downs and run the play clock all the way down every snap.
I beat it but it was down to the wire. They took the lead by 3 with 1 minute left. I had all three timeouts so I was feeling confident.
I completed a couple quick passes with Peyton Manning out of the shotgun and ran hurry up and after a couple I was able to do runs with Adrian Peterson that gashed them for about 10 yards each time because they shifted to a 3-3-5. 7 seconds left I throw a slant to Braylon Edwards and he is tackled at the 1 inch line with 1 second left, I call timeout.
Debated kicking the FG and going to OT, but ran a QB sneak with Manning and got the TD to win. Was so awesome.
It took Champ Bailey intercepting a bubble screen and taking it to the house to turn the tide in my favor, but once he did RGIII threw picks on three straight drives and I was able to claw back in it.

I had almost the exact same scenario as you did. Down 14-10, 1:20 to go, three timeouts. I started to get into a rhythm and as soon as I got to midfield I got the "You have lost your connection from the EA Server" message. I almost threw my controller through the TV screen.
