    HB1 sub glitch

So there is a glitch where in the 4th the HB1 gets subbed out for the rest of the game. Anyone know a good HB In/Out setup that will solve this issue without it being pointless?

Not yet just keep lowering it till it doesn't happen. Right now I am getting ready to try 84/85

Here is my solution, you need to change the sub in and out throughout the game so that your running back is still available even as his stamina decreases. Here is an example of what I mean:

      Start the game off with
1st Quarter HB 85 out and 90 in
2nd Quarter HB 80 out and 85 in
3rd Quarter HB 75 out and 80 in
4th quarter HB 70 out and 75 in

All in all this works for me, but remember your HB depletion of energy depends on how much your using him so some quarters you may not need to drop your in/out levels to get a good rotation.

Also plug your back up HB in a few formations via formation subs this way they are guaranteed to get a few carries by default.

Pretty much what it seems like is that if your HB OUT/IN is too high, say 90/95, by the 4th quarter his energy is never going to reach 95 again so that seems to me to be the reason why youre not seeing them come back in. I havent done much testing on this so i apologize if Im wrong on that theory. If I am right though, if you do what the post above me suggested that should work. Right now Im using OUT/IN 70/80 and am seeing my HB2 get about 5 carries a game on average.

I play 12 minute quarters and have RB at 84/85 and depending how many carries I have he will be taken out for the last quarter. I use miami and it seems they run heavy so I would like to get duke about 18-22 touches but he usually gets way more then that. I don't know how the subs plus fatigue work in the game, I've had duke break long runs and be in there the next play. This really needs to b fixed.

I've never had the HB sub issue - I feel for the guys that are having it though. This is what I've been using:

              Auto Subs
              QB: 60/80
              RB: 84/85
              WR: 84/85
              FB/TE: 60/80
              OL: 60/80
              ---
              DT: 84/85
              DE: 84/85
              LB: 84/85
              CB: 84/85
              S: 84/85

That's why everyone complains about auto subs not working right. If you use him to much he will go out earlier in the game. I don't worry about it because I use different backs in different formations, that way I keep them all fresh through out the game. My #1 back gets the most carries, usually he gets right around 15-18 a game.

It's been like this for the past few years.

I've never had this happen to me. I use 84/85 and manually put my back up in certain situations. Have never had my #1 not be subbed out the entire 4th. Odd indeed.

75/86. Best HB out and in combo. Once the HB 1 comes out HB 2 may stay in for a couple series.

If you want the HB to sub out more go into Formation subs. In there sub in your 2nd or 3rd HB in different formations. I have done this and I have never been happier. You can do it before the game and it will always stay that way for the season. My carries were HB1 20 HB2 10 and HB3 7. I love it. This takes all of 2 minutes to do and you can change it every game. This way when I am loaded at HB all of my guys get in. Try it out.
