PS4 and Xbox One - 2K14 or Live 14?

Hey community. I'm starting this to let the OS community know which one is better based on subjective opinions, not biased professionals at GameSpot or IGN, NBA 2K14 and/or NBA Live 14 for either the PS4 or the Xbox One. When you reply, could you please say which one you think is better based on the released footage and please give a legit reason why it's better than the other. Assume that the released trailers as of 8/5/13 is actual in-game footage and not CGI. Thanks!! Also if you could say which platform that would be cool.

I realize that this thread is premature, that I should wait until ACTUAL 5 on 5 gameplay footage is released, but for right now, assume the trailers are in-game footage.

As of right now I dont think it would be fair to used the release footage to make your choice. Its only been little teaser footage. That being said im all about 2k so thats what ill be getting for PS4 on release. But if your really torn between the two id suggest trying to play both before you buy either

Definitely getting PS4...

I'm actually leaning towards Live 14...I feel it's time for a bit of a change...especially if association is the same AGAIN on 2k14.

All of this depends on gameplay videos though. I'll end up getting whichever looks to be the most realistic and best playing basketball game.

So far I'm liking what I hear about Live...how well that translates into 5 on 5 basketball remains to be seen.

NBA LIVE 14 has it all to price for me yet, but I'm watching it with a close keen eye. NBA2K14 for me if I had to choose now, but come release it'll depend on feedback/reviews and gameplay videos.

It'll be for the PS4 too, obviously.

I will wait untill I see gameplay from both games and see what features they have also, 2k hasnt really improved in the last few games and their association mode is eh. If live can have good gameplay with a good association mode I may end up getting it. As for consoles I will be getting the ps4.

Ill be buying 2k14 for PS4 and gameflying NBA Live !4 just to get my own perspective of the game before i buy it or not buy it. But i wouldnt mind having two good basketball games that both bring something different to the table.

They haven't shown much yet so impossible to give an unbiased opinion since we know nothing about the games.

I personally will be getting both. 2K because I know it get better each year and Live just cause its the return of it and it will hopefully bring some fresh to the competition.

I'm getting NBA 2k14 and NBA Live 14 for PS4. They both look really good as far as graphics of course. I have always loved the 2K franchise and they put out a good basketball game. As for getting Live 14, well it's a fresh start and Live 10 was pretty decent. So therefore can't hurt to have two basketball games. Live 14 based on what we have heard has potential.

As far as the reason behind the PS4. For me it's simple, better exclusives, MLB The Show, No forced camera, I actually like the controller, PSN+ is great, and it's cheaper.
