In madden it is. As are most of the " traits". Why does EVERY SINGLE PLAYER have categories of traits that have no relation to their position? LB throws tight spiral for example.

They are tacked on filler with barely any purpose at all.... That's my point there chief.

Might be in the minority, but I'm not a fan of these player traits things. Seems a bit gimmicky.

They are and serve a VERY VERY role is any at all. Clutch might just be the Only One that has any effect.

Filler nonsense.

How bout adding REAL abilities that actually do something.

Kinda like that other game that came out in 07... Had legends in it... Member that?

Do what they did and have EVERY ability mean something.

I agree that things need to matter a lot more in Madden. Both traits and ratings need to make an impact and need to mean something.

I'm sorry, but reading this list just made me shake my head and realize that not enough has changed at Tiburon. This is a list that came from a 10 year old kid right?

So let me get this straight... Mario Manningham is now suddenly "clutch" because he made a great catch in the super bowl and had a TD reception in traffic against the 9ers in the NFC championship game? Or Charles Woodson is clutch because he nearly retired this offseason?

Tim Tebow is clutch because he made a play in one game against Pittsburgh, but played on a terrible Jets team last season where he saw little relevant playing time?

It's amazing how ratings and other important statisitical data are managed by someone who knows less about football than an Eskimo Hermit living in the outer reaches of Alaska.
