Has Anybody Ever Won A Coach's Challenge?

I've challenged about 6 plays in NCAA 14 thus far. After viewing instant replay post-challenge, I should have won 3 of them. I've won 0.

Yesterday, my QB was hit while attempting to throw the ball away. His arm was CLEARLY coming forward and he lost possession. The ball bounce up to the line of scrimmage.

I always pick a play before challenging just to see if the refs are going to review the play. They didn't so I challenged it. And lost.

Has anyone won a coach's challenge (NOT a booth review) in this game? Or should I just quit challenging plays and accept this as yet another flaw in this game?

Yes. I'm only 6 games into my dynasty, but I've challenged three times, and won one of them. Another time, on a TD pass initially ruled incomplete (I thought my receiver's heel was out of the end zone and didn't challenge), but the officials reviewed it and called it a TD. Very cool.

So take heart, my friend. It does happen. Hope my reply helps--

I lose auto reviews 99% of the time, but when I challenge I a call manually I have about 50% success rate. Won a challenge last night on a fumble in fact.

I've also won challenges that I initiated. So it can happen. It doesn't happen very often, but coaches challenge % isn't very high IRL

I win most challenges. Usually they are fumbles that clearly weren't fumbles. Just like the above poster I once threw a pass in the back corner of the end zone and thought my receiver didn get a foot inbounds so I didn't challenge it. They automatically challenged and I won. He got his heel down before the rest of his foot went out. Very awesome.

Re: Has Anybody Ever Won A Coach's Challenge?

I have won a couple challenges so far mostly on fumbles, but I have also won/lost a challenge.

I know that sounds weird but I intercepted a pass, and I thought his foot was inbounds even though it was ruled incomplete. So I coach's challenged it and when the review was done the play was reversed, expect they game the ball to the other team's offense 40 yards downfield where I made the interception.

I've only done 2 coach's reviews, but I won one of them.

I've won one auto challenge, and I've lost all 4 of my manual challenges.

Actually, 2 of them I knew I was going to lose because I wanted to challenge for a particular reason, and when i hit challenge, it said i wanted to "challenge the spot of the ball", and that WASN'T what I was challenging.

                    Auto Reviews usually change things.

Yes, I have won a couple reviews. Probably 65% or more of them. If you are challenging that much then that is why you are losing them. They happen rarely.

Well, thanks for the replies. Gives me some hope.

I don't challenge all that often, but I really feel I should have won 3 of the 6 (after viewing replays) but I haven't won any. Maybe it's just bad luck!

I never call any challenges.. every time there's a bad call the booth auto reviews it and overturns it..

I've won two coaches challenges, both of them dealing with if the runner broke the plain of the goal line for a touchdown. Both times (including my own team) didn't break the plain and they called it a touchdown. I challenged, and won both.

The challenge system has been screwed up since they implemented it. For example, I've had numerous challenges reversed that showed they were right the first time, and vice versa. I wish they'd just take it out. The CPU doesn't need challenges, it should be right 100% of the time because there's no human error element.

Anyway, yes I've won a few coaches challenges this year.
