Resetting Skill Trees in an Online Dynasty

It's not clear to me what "resetting" the skill tree means. It's an option at the end of a season in an Online Dynasty. Does that mean it wipes the HC/OC/DC upgrade points out and restarts them back at 0 for each skill, or does it mean you get all of the earned upgrades back and you can re-allocate them at the beginning of the season?

I believe it means that it clears them and lets you reallocate them how you wish.

For your user controlled coach resetting lets you reallocate the points you have earned. So if, for example, you are at level 10 then resetting will let you reallocate those 10 points on the skill tree. There is a strategy to this as you should consider allocating the points to those recruiting skills that matter more in the first half of the season.

Really not sure if the DC and OC reset. My team lost its OC and DC and so I was left with whatever points the new OC and DC had achieved. In the case of the OC, he was brand spanking new at level zero so no points, the prior OC was level 14, it'll be interesting to see how that change impacts my offense

When is it during the off season process where you can re-set skill tree?
I have never seen it and want to change some things.
                THANKS!
