    Colorado Buffaloes Dynasty

    Coach: Mack Mizzle

    Year 2

    #14 Colorado
    3-0 (0-0) Pac 12

The Buffaloes have started strong this season under the tutelage of Coach Mizzle. They thoroughly dismantled rival Nebraska 45-7 in the season opener and are 3-0 heading into next weeks game at Cal.

Sophomore sensation QB Mike Merrill has began the season on fire throwing for 7 touchdowns and rushing for 2 more. Sophomore TE Rocky Ray has been a pleasant surprise leading the team in receptions with 18. Meanwhile HB Boomer Powell recently said in practice that he believes this team is better than last seasons 8-4 team but also said he wants the ball more... From a defensive perspective the 3-3-5 scheme change has been a success ranking 33rd in the country, although Lombardi winner Juda Parker has just 2 sacks and was benched against Hawaii for "not showing any intensity" according to Mizzle.

Re: How is your dynasty going

I have decided to start a dynasty with USC, but that's the easy part. Lane and the gang got canned for recruiting violations making Marquise Lee, Hayes Pullard, Devian Shelton, Steven Mitchell, D.J. Morgan, and Cody Kessler all dismissed from the team. (I'm not implying anything so don't get mad SC fans)

      House rules:
      - 15 scholarship limit for 5 seasons
      - first year 3 JuCo recruits --this will hurt in the long run
      - First year D/ST 100% sim incl. FGs
      - no patsies on the schedule
      - One preseason top 10 team @ neutral site/yr. (excluding ND)

I'll be using SECElit3's sliders. I think this will be fun...

doesn't really matter because I would probably move them to a smaller conference anyway. I don't really need help picking a team, its just deciding if I should start a new dynasty or not.

I appreciate everyones help and feedback!

I think it's a good idea. Just don't delete the old one in case you don't enjoy the new one.

We start this stretch at home with Wisconsin(3-6).

The Irish headed west to face Stanford in a game that would keep the Irish in the running for the BCS with a win and Stanford looked to ruin the Irish plans. Stanford took a early lead at 7-0 after the first quarter. Stanford jumped ahead even more in the second thanks to Everett Golston throwing an INT.

The Irish did fight back putting up 17 points as Stanford went in at the half up 28-17 on the Irish. The Irish did fight back getting a TD in the third but Stanford and there defense would answer the call as Goston would throw INT #3 in the final minutes of the 4th quarter as Stanford would win 34-24 over the Irish.

Goston would end up with 381 yards passing & the player of the game would be Remond Wright of Stanford who had 196 yards & 3 TD's.

Iowa would lose to Nebraska 30-17 falling to #6 TCU would move up to #2 after a 41-17 win over Oklahoma. Alabama would move to #3 after a win over Auburn.

Recruiting is definitely easier but unpredictable this year. Maybe it is a little difficult in a way. I wooed a guy all year, I had the lead, and Alabama stole him away at the last minute

Just a crazy different idea, but I saw someone in a forum having posters create recruits and share the story about their careers playing out. Instead of that, what if you create a team builder team and have posters in a new forum or on here create players for the team. Set like a 70 overall rating limit so the team isn't filled with great players right away. It'd be a way to give people a personal interest in your dynasty over the first few seasons until recruiting helps build the team into a power house. Regardless, if you do start a new career of any kind keep the Wyoming one too.

Senior Juda Parker was at it again Saturday registering 4 sacks in the win at Berkeley. Boulder is buzzing following the win against the Golden Bears. Coach Mizzle said there is definitely room for improvement. He also said that Freshman Shooter Shaw will handle all KR/PR duties going forward.

Georgia State Avoids Upset with Last Minute Drive

It all seemed to be going wrong for the second year in a row against Missouri. Anthony Woods was throwing interceptions right into the numbers of the Tigers' defense, the wide receivers were dropping touchdown passes, and Tony Gross' kick return was called back on a clipping penalty. That all resulted in me getting the ball back with just over two minutes to go down 24-21. We started by trying to run the ball, but time wasn't on our side, and we were forced to rely on the passing game. Woods, who finished 10-18 for 172 yards and 1 TD with 2 INTs was called on to forget the day to this point and lead the comeback. He managed to do just that, finding several receivers at key moments to move us down the the 3 with 50 seconds remaining. After milking the clock all we could, Peyton Barber (pictured bottom) who finished with 198 yards on the ground and 3 TDs, ran in for the game winning score with 23 seconds left. David Harris (pictured left) was Woods' leading target for the first time all year, with 6 catches for 86 yards and 1 TD. Defensively, Nick Dawson- Brents led the charge with 9 tackles including 1 for a loss. Senior linebacker Tarris Batiste (pictured right), a multiple year starter, also had a great interception that helped preserve our lead momentarily in the 4th quarter.

At 10-0 (7-0) we now travel to #9 South Carolina in what is probably our toughest test remaining in the regular season. We remain #2 in the polls, as everyone in the Top 5 from last week won. Peyton Barber is now leading in the Heisman race, with #2 being redshirt junior running back David Williams from South Carolina, so next week could determine who wins the Heisman.

Texas Tech. Nice looking Uni's, stadium isn't that bad. Texas pipeline and in-state recruiting. Nice, power conference. A well balanced roster so you can use almost any type of offense without your best players being out of place.

Well, we did it! Ended the year on a 4 game winning streak including a Meineke Car Care Bowl victory to finish 7-6 for the second straight year in a row. Pretty good when the previous coaching staff went 1-11 the year before.

Question for you guys: I got offers from Arizona, Arkansas, and Utah to be their OCs. Arizona is the best of the bunch as they played for the title last year, Arkansas would be interesting since I think the Air Raid would be a good fit there and I'd also see how I'd do against the SEC defenses. Utah is the HC job I want the most though, so going there as the OC would be a step except for the fact that I've been screwed over for the HC job before when I'm the team's coordinator. What do you think?
