Open stadiums

Does anyone know if the Colts, Cowboys, cardinals and Texans stadium actually have the option of playing with an open stadium? Last year the option was there, but it looked the same as closed. Is this going to be fixed this year?

I was thinking of this as well. They have the super detailed stadiums but forget about the shadows that are casted as the day/game goes on? It's would be very nice touch. Particularly in Dallas!!!!

EDIT: Just got the game. The Dallas Cowboys Stadium DOES have realistic sunlight and shadows on the field and some in the stands too! It looks pretty good.

It would be something of a moot point in Dallas' case, since they almost never open the roof for day games anyway.

yeah thats true, but on sunny days there is some sunlight that shines through the side windows and shows up on the field. No where near as much as the old Texas Stadium tho. In last years Madden I dont remember seeing any sunlight at all.

I think the real reason u cant see shadows when roofs are open is because its too cloudy if u notice I play a few plays in a few those stadiums and colts and cowboys u can see outside at end of stadium and its nothing but clouds.i even changed the weather time of day and the same results clouds outside the window.

also why are the stadiums lights on on top the stadium??? I can see for night game but 1pm game???

also the cowboys stadiums looks smokey like they just shot off fireworks as well.

^^^ yeah i noticed that foggy, smokey look also. Hopefully next-gen will put an end to all of these types of issues.

Yeah, I think this is much more evident in the colts, Texans, and cardinals stadiums. My main issue is that this was not a problem in Madden 12, but it was in Madden 13. Really hope they address it this time.
