05 is the best, need to play 25 and the full version more but it will be in my top 3 for sure.

Madden 10 is my all time favorite Madden. I still play it regularly. Madden 7 and 04 are probably right up there too.

Last Gen 5 was the best,this Gen 12 is the best and I don't think it's close unless this year surpasses it.

It's Madden 05. Everyone that has played for a decade or more knows it's '05. '04 was really good, and 10 was ok... but in my eyes, '05 was the most fundamentally sound game EA has ever put out.

I liked 05 on last gen.

Can't say 25 will be the best until the entire game comes out. The demo might play OK, but what if CFM isnt improved and you have CPU teams making dumb offseason moves or has horrible AI like the demo.

Seems like '05 was a great year for NFL gaming. You had two of the greatest NFL games that year in ESPN NFL 2K5 and Madden '05.

It was I remember being torn about which one to get, having never really played 2k before 2k5. But it came out a week or two earlier and it was $20. So I bought it. Played it a ton then. I played a ton of Madden as well. Of course, I was still in my 20's with no family.

The only game I ever owned was Madden 08, still play it today on PC with updated rosters and mods etc.

But widely, I think 05 or 06 is generally accepted as the best. 2004 was good as well.

i don't understand either, Madden 10 is much better than 12 in terms of overall fun factor.
