Look, if you're going to make an argument, figure out what socialism actually is. I guarantee you that it is not what you think it is.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

And guess what....for everyone that is so against paying college athletes....if we were doing that we would have a game to play next year with 0 questions.
I must say, it is quite funny that I have yet to meet/hear of a division 1 athlete, current or former, that feels they did not deserve further compensation than what they received. Just sayin.....Comment

Re: SEC, Pac-12, Big Ten Won't License Trademarks in Future Video Games
How much will it cost to license every single one of those players though? Are you ready to pay up to 30% or more on your tickets and merchandise? We're not living in a vacuum here; the costs are always passed on to the consumer, and when the price point is broken there is no profitable reason to make the game.
In relation to this news: I wonder how long it will be before teams start pulling out of this. I remember when the NCAA pulled out that there was chatter about how it was going to help the game because now EA didn't have to go by their rules. It's looking a lot more empty at EA now, and when the individual teams start pulling out, it's going to mean the end.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

Wow, I think you misunderstood where I was going here. Not at all. But do I think it is wrong to cut a male sport just to make it "equal"? Certainly. As long as football is around, it will never be equal and fair at the same time. I work in college athletics so I have a bit of knowledge of where I am going with this argument. Doesn't mean I'm the smartest on the subject, but I'm not some guy off the street with an opinion that has no credibility....Comment
