Kitchens dont always catch everything they get busy and stuff falls through the cracks pretty sure that happens at your job to assuming you work. again things happen and to call people lazy and all without walking a milein there shoes is not cool you all think the dev process is so easy and this should be easy to fix or that should be easy to fix...if that was the case why does every sports game especially have legacy issues EVERY sports game does even the beloved fifa and nba 2k. -
Dear EA stop releasing demos? Just stop it please. Every year we go thru this. Its just the demo. It will be different from retail. Bam retail comes out not much difference if any. I just never understood, why release a sample of product to the public that is not complete. Its stupid. EA should just release a timed trial of the retail release. Push up season ticket for a week and give a 10 hour trial three days after.
Btw feels sorry for someone who buys the PS3 version with no internet.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Title Update #1 to Fix Disappearing Players
Sony is just as much to blame for this as EA is guys, they have to pass it through Sony to get it approved first. People who are not getting the game because of this already being fixed make no sense. AJ even confirmed it will be fixed in the Season Ticket version next Friday.
Riiiiiggghttt! Thanks for the laugh man.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Title Update #1 to Fix Disappearing Players
How does something like this even make it pass testing!?! Now THIS is gamebreaking. People on here always talk about a game is broken, or a feature is broken, no, this is a gamebreaker. You let this slip into the final build? I don't give a damn what system it's on, it's inexcusable. The fact that there needs to be a day 1 patch to fix this blows my mind! What about the people that don't have internet connection? They really thought this was fine and they could sell the game where half the players on the field disappear? Get it together, this is ridiculousComment

That's just not the case, believe it or not, some people really aren't well off enough to afford internet on a monthly basis. Yeah they may have afforded a PS3 and can buy the game, but they don't pay for those monthly. It's a sad situation that they let something like this get into the final retail build of the game.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Title Update #1 to Fix Disappearing Players
Pretty remarkable. I have a PS3 so I'm pissed. A few posters above were saying how modern games seems to always release with bugs now that older games didn't have. The new modern game development workflow = we are essentially QA. Pretty genius by them because they don't have to pay for QA, and we still buy the games.Comment

Pretty sure you can download the update to a thumb drive and then put it on your console. Now if you have zero access to the internet in this day and age, best of luck to you.Comment

Exactly what i'm saying. I know a ton of guys who own a PS3 and don't have internet access to download patches. Now I know a ton of guys are going to come in here and say that's crazy, and that everyone should have internet access these days.

PS3 users all over the world are in for a rude awakening on August 27th. What makes it even sadder is that the ps3 user base had to inform EA "u know this is broken right." EA and Sony just don't mix this gen.
Lol at the community event people fronting that the demo is so old when HUGE bugs like this are in the final build. I mean, you can't get a bigger bug in ANY game than to have the players on the screen disappearing. EA really saved their best for last.Unofficial OS Ambassador of "CPU vs. CPU"

Yup, over the course of this gen (since online passes came in) people have always gone to gamestops in particular/poorer cities or parts of town to buy used game cause 99% of the time the online pass will not have been used.

Re: Madden NFL 25 Title Update #1 to Fix Disappearing Players
Do they just not test the PS3 version of the game? This is just something that blows my mind. I know they just port the game to PS3 but come on, invisible players, in the final build? How? Just howComment

Can they fix the BS player models for ****s sake?? Guys like Jordy Nelson look like they have 75 inch wastes. They had this shotty BS in M13 and it apparently carried over into M25 without a care, and now the newest additions to the BLUNDER BOWL is helmets that don't fit on players heads. Aaron Freakin Rodgers for example. Maybe next year they can put their arms and legs on backwards. Also, Russell Wilson looks like Flava Flav!!!!Comment

It's a restaurant. It's SUPPOSED to be busy. Sure, stuff falls through the cracks. Little stuff. Missing garnish. Four breadsticks instead of five. A salad going out late to a table.
Undercooked food isn't "little stuff" and, yeah, a patron is going to complain about getting a rare steak when she wanted it well done. That's nothing but expecting to get something done right. When did that become unreasonable?
Nothing like the LT just not showing up on one of the two platforms you call yourself supporting.
It might not be laziness, but it's not competence either. This isn't some odd glitch where if I happen to hit X at the same time a stat overlay shows up at the exact same time - the commentary might hiccup or something until I pause and unpause the game. What's the chances of beta having someone hit X with that exact of timing? I could see that fall through.
Not playing a build on a platform and staring at half an offensive line.
That's falling through a chasm, not a crack.
It has nothing to do with walking a mile in someone's shoes. By that logic, no one should ever critique anything unless you've done it yourself. How often would that happen?"Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment
