Re: How is your dynasty going

After 2 years at WKU, Bobby Petrino was ready to move on. After having brought the Hilltoppers to two consecutive season finishing ranked in the Top 25, it was only time before he received another major BCS offer.

Lane Kiffin was let go from USC after in 2013 and 2014 he finished with 6 and 5 wins, respectively. With coach Petrino arguably the hottest coach on the market, it was only a matter of time before he was offered the position. He accepted in an instant. "I loved my time in Bowling Green, Kentucky, however, I feel as if this is where I need to be to be a successful coach. USC is easily one of the top 5 most prodigious programs in college football history."

We start our year off with #4 Texas A&M led by Three time Heisman winner, (yes three times and he still did not leave early for the draft) Johnny Manziel.

Re: How is your dynasty going

I don't know why I buy this game every year, because it's the same frustrations every year whenever you play as a Head Coach and not the Offensive Coordinator.

Constantly switching to the wrong defender, triangle unresponsive, constant broken coverage, quarterbacks running like Adrian Peterson, fullbacks out running corners, robo-AI QBs, no intentional ground on the CPU. the offensive line refusing to pick anyone up, even whenever there's three lineman and one defender, injuries are pretty much non-existent and when they happen, you could die on the field and probably return for the next drive..

It's to the point where I don't even want to continue this Middle Tennessee State Dynasty, but I will because I made the thread.

I guess I should have posted this in the "You Know What Really Grinds My Gears" Thread, lol.

Anyways, good luck against Manziel bigsheen, haha.

UConn played their first game in 4 weeks earlier today in it was a dandy. Coming in ranked #4 at 10-0, 6-0 American, they faced off against rival Rutgers at snowy Rentschler Field. HB Lyle McCombs returned from injury and had a career game: 28 car, 204 yd, 5 TD as UConn got by Rutgers 52-49 on a last second Chad Christen field goal.

I forgot to assemble stats, so I couldn't do a table.

In other news, the top 5:
              Ohio State 12-0
              Texas 11-0
              USC 12-0
              UConn 11-0
              Florida 11-1

I have one more game at home against 2-9 Memphis before Conf Championship week. USC and OSU are in the PAC 12 and B1G championships.

You're looking at the new HC of the Broncos.

After receiving offers from Minnesota, Utah State and other HC positions, I decided this was the best choice.

Also, The Broncos has been in a slump since 2014 with losing seasons under the HC belt. Last year they were 2-10.

Week 6 NM State vs New Mexico
                    image.jpg

Week 6 NM State vs New Mexico

New Mexico win the Rio Grande Rivalry game in first year with new coach! The running game was no where to be found, but the coaching staff opened up the play book in a big way and the Lobos continue their surprising season. The final score was NM State-10 New Mexico-45

                    Player of the game
QB Cole Gautsche 21-29 301yds 5TD 0 INT also leading rusher with 41yds on 9att
RB Crusoe Gongbay 5att with 33yds and a TD in garbage time making a case for more playing time.
TE Andrew Aho 8rec for 108yds and 2TD, #89 above
WR Cameron DeBesse also had 2TD on 5rec for 45yds, #82 above

Star MLB Dallas Bollema showed up for the first time this season with 12tackles 3 for loss.
Freshman CB Isaiah Brown #16 pictured above had 6tackles and an INT and a deflection.

The defense also had 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles

For NM State Freshman QB King Davis III was 20-36 with 224yds 0TD 1INT also had 25yds rushing and a TD should be a good rivalry with him at the helm the next few years. Davis can be seen on the bench after the game, taking it hard.

New Mexico now 4-1(1-0) NM State 1-5

Next week we travel to Wyoming(thank god not bleedgreen710's cowboys!) they are 4-1

After the game we got our first 3 commits of the coach Kay era
                    75 T(Gem) Jason Hammond 3*
                    69 WR Erick Mayes 3*
                    66 T Kelvin Robinson 2*

We also now have a 685 point lead on North Texas for our #1 recruit
                    74 Ath(Gem) Alex Thomas 3*

                    Around the NCAA week 6
Oklahoma State had its first loss of the season to Kansas State 38-31 dropping them from 6 to 13 and K State jumps from 22 to 14 now 5-0
Florida State,Boston College,Michigan State, and VT all dropped out of top 25

Re: How is your dynasty going

Played the first two games of the season. The first game was against my old team Houston. Tough game, but won out. They were ranked #19 in the NCAA.

My second game was against a stacked Stanford team. Couldn't quite get it going against them at all. Lost 44-37. Barry Sanders Jr ran all over me, hell, to be honest, the whole team ran over me.

I need to get better at the run stop. I can see now that's going to be my downfall for this season. Also, my QB play. I had to switch him out early in the game against Stanford. I'm just not feeling him. I'm recruiting quite a few QB. I start from the QB and work my way to HB, RTE and so fourth.

I'm trying to turn this program back around.

I lost as Miami to Louisville early in the season but was able to climb to #10 by week 11. My offensive is dominating, going into play Virgina Tech, and I proceeded to throw 5 ints. The first one was a WTF moment, but the rest was me falling apart.

Including from their ten yard line going in for the go-ahead, I threw it right to them. I have no idea what happened to me, I throw maybe one int every other game. I almost threw my 360 through the window.

Tried my new dynasty.. it was bad. Trying to get videos with a handheld camera is a pain in the ***, and I found myself not able to get into the game because I wasn't really rooting for either team. I will wait until I get a capture card before I consider starting it up again. Plus I just keep coming back to my Wyoming dynasty. Sorry if anyone was really excited about it.

Will resume the Cowboys dynasty probably tomorrow.
