This is not a big thing but when a guy makes a shot and a player from another team catches the ball falling through hoop, he should not hand it to the other team. He should just lay it down on the ground or throw it to the ref. Just adds to the realism.

Improve the social media interaction. I know a lot of fans are irrational and quite frankly, stupid, but if I'm a 6'1'' PG, I shouldn't have multiple people saying that me getting "only" 3 rebounds was the reason for our loss. It would be cool if we could post some basic tweets as well, and let that have an effect on our following.

I agree fully. On my pf account i don't even read the tweets cuz im tired of, "woulda been nice to see you get more assists" or on my pg account when i hear" you lost cuz you didn't grab more boards". Its like know your role. The fans aren't gonna blame my lack of assisting as a cause for a loss, because big men don't usually get assists. and my rebounding as a pg isn't the problem because pgs don't get that many rebounds anyways.

THIS. Last year and for most years, the auto-generated rookies looked horrible to me. So many other games (non sports games a that) have had much better looking create a player template.

The weird, insane theory I came up with was that all the players were basically offshots of Ronnie 2k. I know thats weird but thats what I noticed.

Hopefully this year they look better

I have a question about the dynamic rosters.

If they work the way we all hope them to work it will be amazing! Players will hang around the areas of the court they are meant to, they will take the kinds of shots they are meant to!

My question is, because the system is powered by Stats Inc, and only about 12 teams have Stats Inc cameras in their buildings, does that mean team who are not working with Stats Inc will only have living rosters based on games in a Stats Inc building.

For example the Celtics DO have Stats Inc in the Garden. Great, so they gather data every home game and that will be applied to NBA 2k14.

The Denver Nuggets DO NOT have a partnership with Stats Inc (so far as I know), so will the nuggets players' rating only deviate when they play a game in a building WITH Stats Inc. Ie when they play the celtics?

This does seem like the best addition I could ask for (NO MORE 2K INSIDER with his 2 changes per month!), but I'm just curious as how it will work!

I really hope 2K is bringing the icon double teaming back so you don't have to manually bring the defender over.

In MyCareer mode I don't appreciate how in the playoffs, games that should be key games the whole series aren't key games, only in elimination games.

Also, the commentators need to acknowledge records in the game more. Especially deeper into seasons, like in Associations and MyCareer. Like they should mention how someone is close to surpassing whomever on whatever all-time record list. I'm sure Kobe's gonna pass some more people in scoring, and we all know he doesn't retire when his contract is up in the videogame. Just an example.

My simple wish for NBA 2K14:

Bring the Online Association back to what Online Leagues was like back in 2K11.

Things back then were much simpler yet so much more enjoyable.

Commentary/Presentation:
-Better recognition of whats going on, on the court. Using the stats from previous games, I want to hear that either the defense is containing the offense or not.
-If a star/s is on a team, I want to see stat overlays of how he's performing throughout the game on breaks.

MyCareer:
-Either the ability to sim past any games(including key games) or bring back the ability to sim to the end of the games. I really dislike when I want to get to the end of a season, that Im basically forced to play of the key games.
-Along with the first part. I want to be able to sim though a key games but play a regular game. I usually only play key games. But there are certain regular games I want to play because of matchups.
-As others said, I dont want to see PGs guarding centers or small players getting subbed into 4 or 5 spot.
-More endorsements
-I want to see players want to come to your team if you are a star. In real world, you see players lobbying other players to come to their team. I want the ability to ask up to 5 free agents to consider coming to your teams. Where you can promise them certain team goals(like championship, playoffs, stats). The players you ask can give you certain responses like "Sorry, your team isnt the ideal situation" or "Ill consider it, but I want to keep my options open" or "Definitely, your team was my 1st choice".
-I would like to see the ability for teammates to gain or lose minutes due to their. If a teammates is over/under performing, I would like to see his minutes to reflect that. We all had a teammates who is rated good, but never shows up, but minutes never diminish. And we had bench players, who we wished got minutes per game.

Realistic substitution patterns for once!!! Lol 9 players on a team don't often see action in the first 7 minutes of a game, I haven't let the CPU handle subs in the last 3 years but it slows the game down having to do it manually

Also in the same vein, in association mode I'd like to see "role players" get extended playing time, cause in real life there can be multiple players off the bench who average over 20 minutes a game who aren't 6th men

With the introduction of euro team to 2K14, so we have any idea as to how this will integrate?

For example, euro games are played on a (slightly) smaller court- will that be replicated in game?
Euro has a smaller 3pt arc, will the be replicated?
Euro has no goal-tending, will that be replicated?

Will these rules be in play is you play Euro vs Euro, or NBA vs Euro teams??

Also I think it would be a fantastic addition to MyPlayer (or MyCareer or whatever the hell they decide to call it this year) that if you don't make the NBA from summer league (God please make it harder to make the NBA, the struggle is the fun part!) that you could go and play in either the D-League or in Europe.

You'd of course have to play European rules and then have to adjust to NBA rules if/when you make it to the NBA.

So much potential for the Euro integration, does anyone know anything about it... or have any other ideas about implementation of it??

I really hope the devs make the big men hold the ball up high when they rebound the ball. Having them bring it down to their waist is annoying, especially when it's a defensive rebound, as people always look to swipe at it online.

Quicker escape dribbles and pull up jumpers.

Realistic closeout speeds (i.e. no players lunging at breakneck speeds to closeout)

Spectator Mode on PS4, nice addition to have in Sim OAs.

No sliding.

There should always be contact where contact happens. If some is trying to turbo to the rim with Lebron, don't let him run in place until he gets by me. If i beat him to the spot, it should be a charge.

Nerf the spin layups/dunks. If i stop a guy from getting to the basket, why can he just double tap circle to slide my player outta the way for an easy bucket?

Get rid of the double-tap commands. Makes the game too easy for people to cheese. 2k should pride themselves on how intuitive the right stick controls are. Make users learn to use it rather than making it easier by allow them to double tap square or X.

Give users as much control on defense as you do on offense. This game sucks for defensive minded players because most of the defense settings don't work (Deny Ball, Strong Hedge etc.), animations strip you of control (can't closeout on a shooter, you player has his ankles broken even though you anticipated correctly), and even when you do everything right your opponent does a spin layup, up and under, or an unstoppable dump off pass right under the basket for an unguardable standing dunk.

Get rid of eurostep jumpers and self alleys.

Make this game SKILL BASED again like in the past. If im clearly better than a guy let me dominate him, like in the past. Basketball IQ on 2k isn't a necessity to do well anymore. The game is scripted to cater toward the power teams, which i personally don't believe should be a feature in online competitive play. Definitely offline against the CPU, but not online. There is no reason my 25 point lead should dwindle down online, when i'm still executing plays, taking good/open shots, and playing good defense. That should never happen.

I agree, and they also should allow you to select which jersey's to wear in MyPlayer, along with home and away accessories (Black socks, arm sleeves, etc) It really annoys me when I'm playing for a team on the road and my player is in white socks and default kicks colorways smh

I appreciate the addition of "live ball physics" but please, please remove the ability to block pump fakes. It's unrealistic and annoying. This was an issue in 2K12 as well

Agree, that is one of the WORST glitches since 2k12. Especially when it's a PG or undersized SG blocking the shot.
