NBA 2K14 - Custom Wristbands?

It looks like we will have customizable wristbands in NBA 2K14, for those of you interested in that sort of thing. You can see "I Promise" on LeBron's wristband in a recently released screenshot.

Nice addition, the more customization the better.

But it's amazing that it's easier to identify LBJ's wristband than his...face.

You'll have to put it on a player with real thick wrists to fit in the band. Maybe there is a way to create Popeye.

Eh, cool I guess. Nothing too exciting tho since you're not gonna be able to read them anyways during gameplay.

More concerned with the lack of wingspan on the players tho.

Custom Colors for Accessories? I honestly hate seeing Melo wearing those UGLY light blue Sleeves. I want my game to look as best as possible, stackable accessories like D Rose, lower shorts, lower Hex Pads, Adidas Braces and shoes, etc.

I really don't mind Custom Messages, but I that's cool.

don't get excited guy's, last year we see in their early photo's or video they release drose wearing his leg pads, but when the game is released, pads is broken..... ;(

Hopefully they improved the CAP mode as well..We have not been able to put goggles on a player since 2k4!!

look, i don't want to be 'that guy' but:

"As a developer, you know you have a timeline that you have to finish within a year. So we start a new feature or new gameplay, and it will usually take at least a couple years to perfect it. Our users will generally get the alpha version of it, and then by the next version it becomes final."

adding wristbands you won't be able to read during gameplay vs adding new tattoos or hairstyles or fixing anything else just sounds silly. wristbands should be that thing you find that's added, not a special 'release note'. i'm all for customization but there's a lot needed before wristbands with words.
