I want to see a standing dunk blocked.

That was a major problem in 2k13.

You had guards like derrick rose and dwade stand dunking over tyson and ibaka.

On the other hand, those that really want better graphics, despite whatever have been done before, need to go with next gen version.

Unlike current gen, next gen consoles are supposedly built in such a way, that we shall never see again the "that version graphics were better than this". I wasnt expecting the next gen graphics apparent huge upgrade (judging solely from the LBJ trailer), but I am definitively expecting a LOT more of gameplay, atmosphere and general content HUGE upgrades/additions, not only due to the prowess of the new consoles but also due to both now having blue ray discs.

P.S:
Hopefully we can get a true indepth (no time limit) gameplay video, that not only states the new additions but also the tweaked ones, compared to past versions ... I was a lover of the past (pre 2k12) form of written indepth articles, wish the video does them justice ... ultimately tho, would be great to have some devs lurk such thread (a bit more) and dissipate most doubts.

What did you think it was gonna look like? Pay attention to the details instead of the overall look, that's what matters.

It's not important but at some point they will have to change the ingame players's voices. They sound so unhuman or remixed. I wonder where they got it from. It has been bothering me just a little bit for a while.

are you crazy you will never win a basketball game with that mentality.. a 2 ois better than a 3.... and you will probably foul lebron if you get too much help on him or he would just pass 2 ray allen

I'm a realist and wasn't expecting this game to look leaps and bounds better than 2k13 but I do expect player face upgrades at the very least and don't think that is a big request for us current gen-ers(Especially the cover guys). Just don't want Beluba and LD2k to go all Don Mattrick (former xbox guy) on us current gen-ers by saying: "We have a game for people that want improved faces where KD doesn't look like Winnie the Pooh with a Goatee and Faried actually has his dreads right..You can play it on the PS4 or Xbox 1!"..

The true test on how big a leap 2k14 is won't be able to be discovered until the sticks are in our hands. Can we impact the ball handler on defense? Do the passes travel with more velocity? Have the amount of AUTOmations been reduced to create more control? Is the 1-3-1 defense still a go-to crutch for cheesers? Can defenders create contact with constant rim attackers/dunkers? These are the most pressing questions for me.

Then there's the inevitable part where the guys who played it at the meetup are like, "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO WANT TO PLAY 2K13 AFTER THIS ONE!"

As said before, extremely underwhelming. Yeah, it looks better than 2k13, but it's basically just a bit more polished. Assuming this is about close to the end product, then this is one of the weaker jumps between titles in recent years.

Spoiler alert: 2K15 is going to look a lot like 2K14 graphically for next and current gen. You can't completely overhaul graphics with just a one year dev cycle. Just isn't feasible.

You see this with EVERY repeat sports title except for Olympics games.

I personally wanted to get a look at rotating defense on the pick and rolls.....didn't see much of that...

I also would personally (and I think its safe to say I can speak for everyone here) like to see Czar get a copy early and do that thing he does where he makes the game more hyped (pre-release) than 2K sports can.....

Why doesn't 2K listen? 10 teams 10 days got everyone really hyped for the game.
