If I download the early release of NHL 14, when the actual release date comes can I buy it online and just unlock the already downloaded copy I have? Or do I have to re-download the whole game again?

No you cant once the release date comes you then have to go and buy the disc copy of the game for 60 dollars

That sucks, I would like to get a digital copy but by the time the PS Store updates on release day and how long it takes to download, itd be quicker to drive to the mall and pick it up

If you download the early release, all you have to do is unlock it once the release date comes around. I did this last year.

you're thinking of the Online Passes, like the codes you get in the boxes that you have to use to unlock the ability to play on the EA servers(I believe that is what they were used for)

The only thing I've heard in regards to Season Ticket is that it won't be available for the new consoles this year.
