Do you guys change schools or normally stick to one school. If you leave what factors in for you? I've been a South Alabama in my dynasty for 7 sevens but Louisville has offered me a job to be their coach. Only thing is, is that South Alabama is stacked for years to come and I kind of feel bad if I leave lol.

I move around a lot...I always go to a school that sucks and build them up to a powerhouse, repeat.
Usually at a school for 2 contracts. -

Cool, I'm gonna finish out this contract with South Alabama and then try the way you do it.Comment

I plan on changing to a better school when I can. I'm starting at Army to build up the team, and then I hope to go somewhere good.INACTIVEComment

Re: Question About Switching Schools in Dynasty
I like to start as an OC at a 1 star school and work my way up. I try to work out at least 50% of my contract before moving unless the head coach leaves. The goal is becoming a head coach so I take the first HC offer that looks appealing. In my current dynasty I have went from the OC at UAB in year 1 to the OC at Louisville in year 2, and now the HC at Colorado in year 3.Relax, it's just a video game!Comment

Re: Question About Switching Schools in Dynasty
In past games I have switched teams after about 5 or 6 years at a school. The reason I do so is either my current conference becomes to easy or one of my favorite schools is struggling. I have 3 schools that I always play with at some point Texas Longhorns, USC Trojans and the Miami Hurricanes.Comment

Re: Question About Switching Schools in Dynasty
I'm going into Year 7 now with South Alabama and I think this may be my final season there. I couldn't leave some of the players that were going to be seniors so I stuck around. Unless I get no appealing jobs then I will leave.Comment

Re: Question About Switching Schools in Dynasty
I just left South Alabama after 7 years I know your pain. But now I'm at Florida State (they finally fired Fisher) Not gonna lie I love it, but I always said I'd never leave South Alabama, and I'm saying that about Florida State now, even when UC offered me I turned them down. But who knows what comes sometimes you just gotta say there's nothing more for me to do here, and move on.Comment

Re: Question About Switching Schools in Dynasty
I usually start at a 1 star school and build up my prestige until I get offered a job at a former powerhouse that is down on it's luck and then build them up. I was at Texas State for 3 years and then took the HC job at Tennessee, they were a 2 star team when I was offered the jobComment

Re: Question About Switching Schools in Dynasty
This is what i did and have enjoyed my career so far:
Started season 1 as OC @ WYO. Help lead them to a bowl and used that to jump to a HC job (ended up at East. Mich). Gave myself a rule of i had to have at least back to back seasons of 10+ wins and at least 1 major bowl appearance (not necessarily BCS) before i can leave. Spent 3 seasons at EMU. In seas 3, went 12-1 and lost to MIA in the Sugar Bowl. Turned that into HC at Zona (was a 4* at the time i jumped). Currently starting year 2 at Zona now.
For my tastes, feels like semi-realistic progression. To each his own thoughComment

Re: Question About Switching Schools in Dynasty
I'm at EMU right now and they've offered me a new five year agreement after going 7-6 in 2013. If I accept the five year offer, does that mean I'm stuck there until the end of those five years? Or can I leave next season if I find a decent offer?Comment
