How good is HW Tebow?

Finally got enough coins to buy a HH Tebow.. but is it worth it? I already have Flutie (BC fan) but I love Tebow. Is he worth the 100k?

no way a 100k you could get vick for less and hes def better. I think ware is better too and i just picked him up for 7k

If you are a Tebow fan, he is worth it. If not, I would advise against him, as lefty QB's don't work well in the game. A few of the plays are completely broken for lefties, something that needs to be fixed but probably won't. I'd suggest buying either Ware, gold Newton, or Elite Young. If you don't have a lot of coins and only an average team, I'd stay away from Young though, as he costs way more than the other 2.

Buy a 94 gold Tebow and then imagine a slightly better version. And by slightly I mean its really the same thing except a tad better buy prob 85k less. I would spend the coins upgrading other needs

Alright thanks everyone. I think I'm going to buy him, but not for 100k. It seems none of them sell for that much anyways.. Haven't seen one get bid on in days.. Sadly I just lost a bidding war for one at 60k.

I also have to recommend Ware. I always brushed off Ware when people would recommend him to me and the other day I pulled him in a pack and he has given my team a new spark. He is defiantly worth it for the price.

I use the Tebow Heisman Winner. He's a beast. There is a fullback handoff that is broken for left handed QBs. Only broken play I have seen so far. I was rotating between Heisman Winner Tebow and Award Winner Peyton Manning. Just bought the ESPN Troy Smith, so I'll see what he's like.

All the cheesers are going to tell you to use Vick. People that use Vick are normally those players that will do anything to win instead of actually trying to play a football game. The will run with him to death, snap it and run. Kind of takes the fun out of playing the game IMO. Vick is also left handed.

If you must have a running QB to win a game, use Ware or Vick. Maybe even Troy Smith or Tommie Frazier. Get Vince Young or Pat White if you have the coin.

If you want to win and have a QB that can move, handle designed QB runs, but still pass alot, then use Tebow or Charlie Ward.

If you are a pocket passer player, use Manning. You can get Manning in the 4k area.

On that thought, how good is that "Team Captain Kyle Williams" from LSU? I already have Heisman Suh & Sapp as my DTs and am wondering if he would be an upgrade?

I agree with everything you said in this post, I'm instantly discouraged when I'm against a Vick. Doesn't even matter if 85% of the time I'm smacking them, I hate playing cheesers.

But the bolded, Ware can also do all of that for a fraction of a Tebow.

*knocks on wood* Ware's 99 CAR stands tall and I've only fumbled with him once against Impossible Team Week 4 and didn't lose the fumble on top of that. He is also a pretty go on the run thrower so he is good for roll-outs too.

Thanks for the post. I've been using Flutie and I'm on a pretty big win streak. During that win streak I had a time where I played against Vick 9 times in a row lol.

I bought Tebow and the Gator playbook and I've only used him for 3 games. 2 of the people shouldn't have been matched up with me but against a team better than mine he did break out of a sack and did run over some CB's.

The only QB's I will ever use are Flutie, Matt Ryan, and Tebow. I'm not too concerned about what players I need to "win" because I start Wilfork, Mayo, B. Spikes, McCourty all on my D because I'm a huge Pats fan also. I was just wondering if Tebow was worth the 100k. I did get him for 85k though, so I'm happy, and he seems nice so far.

I mean, I have played against ONE person that was using Vick that actually played a straight up game. I remember thinking in the third quarter that "Man this dude isn't running with Vick and cheesing me to death". Vick would be fine if you played people that used him realistically.

I played this one guy that was running the same play over and over. It was an exploit that you couldn't stop unless you had 2 spies and controlled the safety yourself. He would just line up and do the same thing. It worked for 2 quarters, we were tied 21-21 at half. Then I started blasting Vick. He fumbled twice and I ran one back for a TD. He quit after throwing a pick while running that same play he ran 30 times in a row.

When I play online or offline, if I am using a QB with speed, I only run when a d-lineman comes through unblocked. My stats speak for themself. I get sacked a good bit, don't turn the ball over a lot. I also have a rule that I only run ANY type of verticals play only once a game.

It definitely helps when playing offline. Makes it more fun.
