Throwing over the middle seems a little more difficult this year. I feel like crossing patterns and slants are a little better. Still open, but not as much as before.

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread
I'm saying the offensive line is overpowered on All-American just like in the demo. I purposely played on AA to see if their was a difference on AA between the demo and this retail version and I was not able to tell a difference.I'm not seeing that. Maybe its the teams, but in the Demo on All Madden, I was blowing Seattle out by 30 some games, but I can't get past 17 points to beat them on all-pro with my Skins.
Sherman can't be thrown on and the other corner is batting my passes down, every chance he gets.
I'm about to restart another game with Seattle, because they just beat me again 14-7.Last edited by ghettogeeksta; 08-23-2013, 05:54 PM.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread
Commentary is still very similar to last year. And they brought back current story lines form the real NFL (SMH). I have already hear about Gronks Broken Arms in two straight games. Plus the silence in the beginning of the games is pretty lousyComment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread
I haven't even played a game and I am already mad as hell. The Washington Redskins uniforms are just as bad this year as last year. The 1932 "Throwback" uniform still has a white (not black) facemask. They still lack Nike branded gold pants, which they wore a lot last year.
I just can't trust EA to get the little details right.Moderator

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread
Well, after a few season sims I am terribly disappointed in the QB sim stats. I had 9 starting QB's with 500+ passing attempts with the following completion rates.
51
51
50
49
48
48
47
46
45
Next sim I will pay attention to how this affects the XP and development of these players. What's worse is the disparity between these QB's and the ones above them.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread
Owner Mode is broken down into 7 parts. It seems a lot better then the old one.
Team Value - Overall, Fan Happiness, Team Success, Popularity, Staff, Stadium, Concession, Merchandise, Ticket Sales.
Finances - You have an adviser. You can change the prices for Tickets, Merchandise, and Concessions.
Marketing - You have an adviser. Here you can choose how you market your players, check your National/Regional/Local popularity, and check what statements the media has made about your team.
Stadium - You have an adviser. Here you can Upgrade or Rebuild your stadium. If your Stadium Rating is less than 20, you can choose to relocate. Your Parking/Team Store/Fan Zone/Bathrooms/Concessions/Seating all have ratings. I did one with the Bengals and Paul Brown Stadium is rated a 33.
Staff - You have an adviser. Here it tells you all about your Staff, and the available upgrades for them.
Fan Happiness - You have an adviser. Fan Happiness is based on these categories: Team Success, Team Popularity, Market Size, Roster Rating, Staff Rating, Stadium Rating, Concession Prices, Merchandise Prices, and Ticket Prices. Each week all of those categories get ranked with the rest of the NFL.
Team Success - You have an adviser. This is tracked over multiple years and changes going forward based on wins and losses, playoff victories, and overall success.Comment

For some reason, Im liking the zoomed camera view. It zooms in and out out just right. Ive only tried it in practice though...Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread
A couple quick positives from a presentation stand point. I heard on one play nantz say morris takes the hand off and tackled by Lee.
Also, it seems the stat banners stay on a screen a little better this year. Last year I feel like I was able to accidentally skip them pretty easily.Comment

I'm online and streaming Madden 25
Hart Twitch Madden 25
I'm going to run an online ranked game real quick just for S & G's, and then I'll start browsing the other items. If you want, ask questions and I will answer them as best as possible.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread
Right now I am on the fence. I have no clue, as of now, if I am going to purchase.
I have played only one game. Default heisman, 12 min qtrs (12 second runoff), Broncos vs Chargers (I was Denver).
Some things felt really good. Some didn't but I definitely see where slider gurus can make some magic happen here. This is a more solid foundation than a couple previous releases (as far as right out the gates) gameplay wise IMO.
Still some glaring legacy issues that I just can't get over. Hard for me to get too specific though, as on default I saw zero pass rush so I am sure with that tweaked/patched/tuned the game will play much better...
I have never been so 50/50 before. Usually I am either totally buy or totally not but I am going to take advantage of the full season ticket release and make an informed decision on Tuesday....
I do think the game looks and plays great on he 360."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."
