At this point, everything will be next gen. Gamestop is giving me $200 for my Xbox elite plus I have a 50% extra card on trade ins. So that's $300 towards my consoles. Ps4 paid in full, $200 left on my Xbox One. So ill be buying Madden for PS4, 2K14 & Watchdog for Xbox One.

My fear is even next gen will be similar gameplay wise, with prettier graphics and active sidelines, maybe.

I'm not getting M25 for the PS4 because I'll be running my league until the Summer. Next year we'll make the jump to Next Gen.

I'm very happy with what I'm seeing so far.

The only reason I am sticking with Current-Gen is because of GTA V. I think I can play that game for months. I will be getting 2K14 on 360 also because of that. If GTA V were Next-Gen or playable on Next-Gen I would say hell no to this Madden.

I tried out the demo and was meh, now that I saw the review I feel great that I am passing it up another year. They took out one of my favorite features which was CPU vs CPU in offline franchise so its back to M12 for me. I have a sneaky feeling M25 will have abysmal sales on 360/ps3. I bet X1 and ps4 M25 will be riddled with problems too.

Agree. Too many quality games that either just came out or are on the way for current gen to make me want to jump to next gen at launch. GTA V, Splinter Cell, Batman, Watch Dogs, etc. Only games that make me want to jump are BF4 b/c of 32 vs 32 maps and Forza 5 but I can wait.

Nope. Was on the fence, but the same things that I hate about NCAA are in Madden. NHL comes out 2 weeks later and that will take up most of my gaming time until the PS4 comes out.

I'll probably give it a shot on next gen though for some reason.

Nope, I did buy the Season Ticket Early Edition because it's my weekend off but instead Ill rent it on release day then after a couple of weeks I should be tired of it in which Ill return it back to Family Video and wait on NBA 2K14 and that should hold me over til next-gen NBA 2k14 and next-gen Madden 25. This will be my strategy for Madden throughout next-gen if they continue with the Season ticket.

I'm excited for next gen - looks great and hopefully it puts an end to all of this "patch management" and sliding we've seen this gen. HOWEVER, from what i've seen of Madden 25 next gen - I gotta say i'm seeing alot of the same movements and animations - smoother - but the same.

My 360 from 2009 still works great so i'm going to ride this out for another year or two with Madden 25, NCAA 14, and some NBA 2K11 and maybe NBA2K14.

I'm buying NFL Sunday Ticket for $100 and getting Madden alongside it. I may just dump Madden to cut my losses.
