So how exactly does the boost work? Is it just for that player or for everyone at their position or the entire team??

Boost player cards?
Only for that player card.
Patrick Peterson is rated at 95.
His regular Gold is still rated 93.

Shocking what these things sell for. Peterson sells at 400k. You can get Champ and Winfield both for just a little more. You can get Deion for that.

I just wasn't sure, bc I couldn't find a plausible reason for them to put out that Castillo card which is only a 91 ovl. There are numerous gold DTs that are rated higher.

And someone fixed the market on Fluker. He was sitting stale at 150k and lower. Now he's suddenly up over 200k. Guessing someone might lose their shirt on that one.

I get the Peterson, kind of. If they aren't going to release an Elite of him (Thorpe winner) and he isn't getting upgraded in the LSU team collection, a 95 ovr card for him is good. Should have been 96, but that's splitting hairs.

I'm ok with Fluker, but again I think it should be rated higher.

But the other two...I cannot reasonably understand why they chose those two.

Completely agree. I pulled a Castillo earlier and sold it immediately for 75k bc I just don't see why anyone would pay that much, or more, for that card. I was happy to get what I got for it.

I get a team collector grabbing them, but are there really any Northwestern fans who play NCAA?

I'd like to have Fluker and Peterson, but would only pay price equal to what equally rated cards go for. 100k for Peterson, 10k for Fluker. I don't give two craps about scarcity.

Yeah, I was comparing the LE Dez to the gold Blackmon and the only thing Dez was better in was Spectacular Catch. Yet you can get Blackmon for 6k. Lol. So dumb to buy that Dez.

Yeah, I was comparing the LE Dez to the gold Blackmon and the only thing Dez was better in was Spectacular Catch. Yet you can get Blackmon for 6k. Lol. So dumb to buy that Dez.

The thing I don't get is that the Gold Dez is an 88 OVR. So now raising ONE attribute by ONE point is enough to push him up to a 92? It doesn't make sense. The only redeeming quality about these cards to me is the words "LIMITED EDITION" on them. That's it.

It's not all hype. By having patrick Peterson on the field, every player on the team has +1 speed. They will be releasing more, so if you get 4 guys with +1 speed, everyone has +4 speed, which could be very advantageous. Same thing with lineman. Imagine if all the lineman had +1 rbk? That would significantly improve a team

That has to be only for the player. The game would be broken if that boosted the whole team, and thus worth way more than what they're already going for (which is a rip-off, IMO).
