Re: Madden 25 NFL Speed Ratings

Does anyone know what factors goes into Madden Speed Ratings because there are a few guys I believe should be higher.

Percy Harvin 96 speed 4.41 combine 40 - If anyone really knows Percy you know he is a speedster and that his combine 40 should not dictate what his Madden rating should be because he is way faster than the 40 time. Harvin was also a track star at the University of Florida, where he recorded times of 10.43 seconds in the 100 meters and 21.3 seconds in the 200 meters. I say 97 or 98 should be legit no way Adrian Peterson is faster.

Julio Jones 95 speed 4.39 combine 40 - Ran on a broken foot at the combine

Tavon Austin 95 speed 4.25* combine 40 - Austin ran an unofficial 4.25 at the combine. I believe he is on the same level as DeSean Jackson in the speed department if not faster, He is extremely underrated with his speed in the game. A 97 at the least should be his rating.

Taylor Mays 94 speed 4.24* combine 40 - Blew everyone away with his 40.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I really don't know what goes in account for these ratings at all. Don't get me wrong but Devin Hester clocked a slower 40 time than what he really performs at and his speed rating is one of the highest in the game at 98.

Ted Ginn did not run a 40 at all coming into the NFL and his speed rating is at a 97.
