I am not being comical here: but did that really just happen in that full scope of detail?

1. Wrong championship team celebrating?

2. Wrong M.V.P honored?

3. And a highlight against you (the winning team)?

Wow.

They had all this right in last years demo. I wonder what gives.. its as if it was blatantly arranged or disregarded - how do you not officiate and organize the superbowl event appropriately and accurately?

I guess the MUT Championships is more prized than the Superbowl.

We will hope for a patch to arrive.

At first, I thought you were just kidding us. After re-reading, i really think you're genuinely serious. I mean, as long as gameplay is decent, presentation doesn't really matter much to me personally. However, this is completely inexcusable.

Its things like this that just ruin Madden for me, its the same mistakes every year. How does something like this happen? Also I noticed with the EA rookies draft classes, black players will have a picture of a white dude. Same mistakes from last year, the same. Its unreal.

Heh heh, the EA foibles continue at record pace.

I am not a presentation guy either, but this really captures the essense of EA's work ethic. The pinnacle moment of the entire game and it is botched royally. Please......

The more I read these threads, the happier I am that I passed on buying this game. The demo was somewhat promising, but I just knew from EA's track record there would be far too many of these types of game breakers lurking within to make it worthwhile.

I wonder if there will come a day when EA will hire a quality control department so they can stop using their paying consumers as beta testers.

Same thing happened for me. Got my Texans to the superbowl. Neat the 49er's. Kap is the mvp. There they are celebrating.

Brought my game face in for the first time too. He has zombie eyes. Only the whites of his eyes. Couldnt get it to import so he had human eyes.

Despite this, I was looking forward to seeing zombie eyed me hoist the rozelle. Guess I'll just have to be satisfied with eating brains. *sigh*

You're last sentence says it all. Once again, I'm passing as well. Madden 12 is getting old, but at least it's stable, playable with good sliders and all in all, decent enough for offline franchise.

Yeah,Madden 12 may not have the slightly new and improved passing and running game mechanics and the physics system(which is actually a good thing)but there's a lot to be said for a game that plays good with good sliders that doesn't have the inherent game breaking issues.

Even if EA has the competence or wherewithal to get everything patched,it's likely a long wait for that.It would be different if the game reached the depth of a game like Head Coach 09 but relocating teams and setting concession prices just doesn't do it for me.

Lol... Not surprised in the least. And I finally had to shut the commentary off.... After just 3 games it just grew so repetitive and annoying.

A great slider and roster set is currently giving me a lot of great games in M25 tho.

We share the same philosophy, but sadly we're likely in the minority. Many simple basics of the game are missing. The fact that subs have to now be set every singe game, inability to edit player names in CFM, the removal of several important slider sets, zone defenses that appear to be extremely toned-down are just deal-breakers for me.

I hope it's a good game for everyone who plays online though. Maybe that experience will be better...........

I'm not surprised by this when it comes to Madden any more. The NCAA team puts together a good game, but the Madden team must be idiots.

I don't understand how these games hit shelves. M13 is one of the glitchiest games that I've ever played with the most random freezes.

Resistance is futile. EA will always be able to throw these games out on shelves half done and still sell millions of copies.

itll get fixed.. calm down.. M13 was a mess .. M25 played much better in the demo. Personally the SB pres. isnt a deal breaker... its one thing of many really. And the reason EA can put games on shelves and sell millions of copies is because they built what you call a "brand" there selling the "brand" more than there selling you the game. its money dude.

...and I said as much in my last sentence. They're* selling millions of copies of their "brand" by putting an unfinished and less than par product on the shelves. Since they're* still selling an absurd amount of games, nothing will change.

And something like the Super Bowl presentation is a big deal. For constantly trying to preach "realism" in CFM, they can't even get that right? Same with the wrong schedule rotation they've put in once again. It's a sign of other issues and incredible incompetence.

Yes, M13 was a mess and you know what? It still is. It still feels like an unfinished version.

LOL same thing happened to me last night. I was the bucs playing against the patriots. I won 33 -24 and when the game was over it was the patriots celebrating. I meant to post this last night but went to bed
